Keys to the photos/images is...

1.) Keep them small in size ~ both physical size and MB size.
2.) Keep them to the more 'novelty' threads, rather than serious discussions.
3.) Keep them within reasonable bounds of taste
4.) Keep them small!

However, sometimes a 'serious discussion' thread degenerates into a silly thread. HA!

But yeah, I like them too as long as they're small. And Bena has a point ~ having them more rare than common makes them an unexpected treat!

And no, Canuck, I'm NOT talking about your post ~ that was great! I'm just talking about going forward from here, in general.

Okay, I promise to be judicious....Could you please provide a step-by-step for those of us who are not familiar with the "little linky thing"?

TIA

First, I also have trouble sometimes getting pics to post properly here. One thing I have noticed is that try to do it in my my usual browser, Google Chrome, I have trouble. That goes for Internet Explorer too. So first, open a window in Firefox and go to photo bucket. I open another tab in Firefox and log in to the forum, then make the window smaller and drag one tab so I have two separate windows open in Firefox - one with the thread I want to post in and the other in Photobucket.

From there, here are your step-by-step instructions:

1. At the top is an orange button that says "Upload". Click it.

2. It will go to this screen:

Either click the blue button and navigate to the photo you have on your computer or do what I do: I make sure the photo is on my desktop then just drag it over and release it in the box.

3. It will upload, and you can add a tag or title if you like. I don't. I'm lazy. When it is finished uploading it will look like this:

You can add more photos now. See the bottom where my photo is now showing?

4. Click on your photo to see it now, and you'll get this screen:

Follow my red arrow. THAT'S the "linky thing" that works in this forum. Just click it and it will say "copied". Then just paste it (CTRL V) into your open message.

Done!

I'm in the middle of a report, but I'll play around with it tonight. Thank you so much!

I lied about being judicious!
