Oh Snap!!

My other business is pet/house sitting. One of my clients lives in a high end neighborhood in CT... their neighbors are Jon Bon Jovi and Rene Zellweger.

Beautiful place and he rents out some of his property to the horse farm so there are about 140 horses in the fields below with a view like you dream about. Oh, lets not forget the hot tub... yay...

So I house sit here about once a month for a week or so and they also put on charity events so I work the guest list and care for donations.

I often bring the grand baby and my mom comes to visit quite often while I'm here. Great gig, beautiful house, I get to bring my own dogs and it's in an area where they are short on shoppers so I make big money doing shops while I'm here.

So what is the point, you ask? Why the "Oh Snap" title you ask...

I swear to god there is a coyote right outside the front door because it is howling and it is loud!!!!

Thank goodness I let the dogs out already!!!!

YIKES!!!!!!!

Coyotes seem to be everywhere these days. We think coyotes got all the stray cats as well as two of my indoor/outdoor cats. My aunt lives on an island and sees a coyote on its daily route. If it didn't cross over on a bridge, she has no idea how it got there.
The farmhand across the street shot a coyote not 200 yards from our house last week.It was big and looked well-fed. About 3 weeks ago a cougar was spotted walking down main street (standing at a stoplight no less!)

We have a pack of 10-20 you can hear howling at night in the woods behind our property. We just got more ammo today and the M-4 is by the door in case we spot one coming for our little terriers.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
Washington, DC is split north/south by Rock Creek Park, which also connects by trails to parkland to the north in MD. I have encountered a coyote in the park, smack dab in the midst of DC. It was standing in the narrow roadway and could not be mistaken for anything else! The park is in a deep, heavily wooded ravine with a gushing stream, and feels quite remote from the city above.

Waiting for it to turn green probably.

(heart)

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
I said the same thing to my DH! LOL

We stayed at my brother-in-law's house for a few days a couple of years back due to a prolonged power outage. He has three acres and we often see wildlife out in his backyard. One day during our stay, right out the sliding glass window we saw a coyote that was simply lingering and circling around the same area consistently. After two hours we called animal control. They sent out an officer who said this was unusual behavior and the coyote looked like it had mange. He said it was best to put it out of its misery and shot it.
What the hell is Jon Bon Jovi doing in CT? Perhaps it is someone similar. I'm pretty sure he stays in Jersey.

As I am sure that he does have a house in Jersey because that is where he is from and has made no bones about loving where he is from...

It is not some one similar... he infact has a house in CT like most of the rich and famous and he does stay there from time to time. I have met him and he is actually a pretty good guy.
