Panda xpb45 washer w/spin dry

I got a Panda washer from Amazon and it is a dream machine. It was $215 w/3 year warranty. I have to pour the water in cuz my sink is messed up so I use a bucket. It comes with a hose to run from faucet to the unit. I put water in and then soap, clothes and more water. I run it, then I drain and place clothes or whatever in spin dry, put setting on drain and spin dry. The items almost come out dry!! I Have washed small towels, hung them up and they are completely dry the next day!! The unit was delivered FedEx and the lady that delivered it helped me carry it up the stairs. It is not too heavy. Yay!! I became grossed out at the public laundramat cuz I would open the washer door and I smelled mold. They never ever clean the washers at a public laundramat and the dryers are even more gross with pieces of gum, candy and who knows what!! in them.

At least they don't allow smoking in laundromats any more! That was the worst! I would spend a lot to make my clothes smell good and then while folding them, they absorbed stinky cigarette smoke! Congrats - I will soon be laundromat free too!
What are you getting?
I used to use the dryers in the back cuz @ my local laundramat they also serve coffee and make donuts. When I used the dryers in the front ..... my clothes would smell like donuts. smiling smiley I don't like donuts that much!!
I haven't decided on brand, but I would like to get a top loader without an agitator. I wash blankets a lot and these can handle it. It is so arid here that I can get along without a dryer for awhile and I love the smell of clothes dried outside! We have a great laundromat (Maytag) where there are full time attendants, but the dryers never get very warm, and nothing gets really dry.
How many bath towels will fit in the Panda?
I will take some bath towels, stuff it and let you know. Be right back.........smiling smiley
6 or 7...wow!!~ I have the 10 lb. size and it holds quite a bit. The spin dry works very, very well. Like I said ..... I hang things up and by morning everything is dry. smiling smiley I LOVE this machine. smiling smiley smiling smiley smiling smiley
I learned that one cannot put in a lot of heavy things like all towels as the washer will not work. I can put in 2 towels and I have to rinse 3 times. It is hard work as I have to use a buckets to put the water in. The hose they sent does not fit. All in all it is a little piece of heaven to use. I did 5 loads of wash Sunday and all of it was dry by morning. smiling smiley
I think it is mean to put pandas in the washer or dryer. winking smiley
