Extreme couponing

I did not make any assumptions about your life. I said MAYBE you live in a small town. I did not state it for a fact. My comments about small town living are just my thoughts at the moment.

If you look, I have not liked any of your posts but you sure seem to like a lot of mine. I find that very interesting.

We have been using ibotta app. So far we have earned $65 since August which we transfer into paypal or Amazon gift cards. It has coupons for veggies (carrots and brussel sprouts this week) and "any brand" item. They often have any brand milk, any brand bread and any brand cereal coupons.
If you use my referral code, you can get an extra $10 after you use a coupon. Referral code: larmumr

Because I am a nice person. And so what this is a forum to share ideas and experiences. I don't go back and look at who "liked" my post. I could care less. You sound silly. Please just leave me alone. I am not hurting anyone-.

Thanks! I already use ibotta but haven't been near as successful as you! My God you've done GREAT!!! How do you do it? I never find that much that I can use because I don't drink and 75% of what they offer has alcohol in it.

I also use Checkout51 which is easier than ibotta, you don't have to watch a marketing pitch to get the rebate and you don't have to scan the product, just scan the receipt and get money.
Bragging about past experiences makes a poster sound insecure and needy. Too much information. Speaking for myself, I don't care about former titles at former companies, whether the companies were billion dollar companies or bankrupt companies, or what age anyone retired. Throwing that kind of stuff out just makes someone sound silly. Apparently others thought so, because the original post was given a thumbsdown from so many posters that it is gone. The information only remains where it was quoted.

CITO !!
You don't need to live in a small time to have regular folk you deal with. When I go for gas I look to see if my favourite gas jockey is working and then get in line for his pump. At restaurants I will ask to be seating in my favourite server's area. In the grocery stores again I look to see which line my favourite cashier is working and often head for that line (if it isn't too long, etc).

I also hate shopping (strange thing for a mystery shopper to be saying) which is why using the same competent cashier makes the process so much quicker and smoother.

Ya, that's just great that I get judged for standing my ground as I get insulted at every turn and that just seems to be ok. She was saying I'm just a dumb small town girl. Which I am not. I am far from insecure I was just making a point to her. I just come here for a nice experience and to learn some things and encourage other newbies. But right off I end up with a stalker and then someone who outright just insults me as a person not my posts. I do have feelings, too. I don't like to have my feelings hurt and she does not even know anything about me. I was only trying to make a point to her. But I'm the one that is thumbs down? That's great to know. I will just stop posting. Thanks.
That's a cool term, gas jockey. You live in NJ? I went there once and I was sooo surprised to find that you are not allowed to pump your own gas in NJ. That's cool, though. I get tired of pumping my own gas and I hate it in the winter when it's really cold and windy!!!
Nope, I'm a Canuck and I only use a 'full serve' brand because, like you, I hate pumping my own gas when it is cold and windy.

I went to another state when it was illegal to pump your own gas, it might have been Oregon but it was years ago and I can't remember for sure.
I love Canada!!! I have been to Windsor several times to gamble and my hubby and I took a trip to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We had such a great time! We go to Mexico every year and have made friends with a lot of Canadians. We met a cool couple from Toronto and some people from Calgary, Alberta, plus met a really nice lady from Vancouver Island. I would love to see more of Canada in the future.

Sorry for hijacking the couponing thread.
LeslieKay,

Don't let them push you around. I haven't seen anything in your posts that should encourage others to harass you... and don't stop posting, I like reading them.

I'm sure you did come here for a nice experience. Standing your ground? You got upset because a poster made several critical comments after some of your posts and decided you were being "stalked." Other posters defended you. Then you picked out a DIFFERENT poster than the one you believed was "stalking" you, Sybil. YOU became the "stalker" and followed her and objected to a post she made that did not involve you. You wrote an abusive and insulting post saying shut up and move on. Forum members here don't always agree, but we don't tell each other to shup up and move on, we embrace the right of free speech and we recognize that everybody is entitled to his own opinion. Your post was given thumbsdown by so many posters that it is not visible anymore. Surely, after stalking and insulting Sybil (and I haven't seen you post any kind of apology), you don't expect her to welcome you with open arms? Oversensitivity has no place on an internet forum, and anybody who needs to make a point by wildly bragging is insecure.
I don't normally get involved in personality issues but I am at a loss as to how you can make LeslieKay into the villain. Maybe we can all just put this aside and begin afresh for the New Year.

@LeslieKay111,
Wow! Self-esteem issues much? Please show me where I said that you were " just a dumb small town girl." I said no such thing. You are full of ASSumptions or you have a reading comprehension problem or maybe both.

You need to quit playing the victim. You have posted incorrect information at least two times. (I'm being generous.) Once several forum members thumbed your posts into oblivion, you came crawling back with your tail between your legs and a pleading apology for forgiveness.

Another time, you told forum members that you "can't stand rude and ignorant people" and you want them to "just shut up and move on if they have nothing positive to add." Just because a forum member points out that you posted inaccurate information or disagrees with you, it does not mean that they are rude or ignorant.

You joined the forum on December 14th and as of today's date, 12/31/16, you have posted 108 times. Several of your posts have been thumbed into oblivion by forum members who did not like what you posted or the moderators have had to edit them. That is not a good track record for a so-called newbie. I suggest that you start reading the New Members section of the forum and work on building your small business.

Happy New Year!

I think your loss in understanding, Bena, is probably because so many of LeslieKay's posts are no longer visible because they have been given thumbsdowns. Her posts just in this thread have all pretty much disappeared already.

@Bena,
You have joined the party way late. Many, and I mean many, of LK's posts have "disappeared" from the forum by a consensus of forum members or a moderator has had to edit her posts so you are not getting the full story. Many of LK's posts have been thumbed into invisibility before I even had a chance to read them so it is not me giving the thumb.

Happy New Year!

I'm drinking vodka and cranberry and listening to the OSU game that my husband is watching. Happy New Years!
You can keep both the vodka and the cranberry. Cranberries are good with turkey and not much else IMNOTHO. Give me the dark rum any day though New Year's Eve is going to be quiet here. I'll probably be in bed before midnight as I have a full day of work tomorrow.
You seem to have a selective memory for facts. I have never ran anywhere with my tail between my legs for anyone. And YOU follow me around and make slick comments on MY posts. Most of the time I ignore you. If I have made mistakes on information in my posts I am unaware of it because no one has brought it to my attention. I only post on MY experiences and my knowledge, now maybe others have had other experiences but I do NOT advise anyone. I am too new to do that. I make suggestions on what I have experienced or how I have resolved an issue. You spend your time criticizing what I fed my kids 10 years ago.

You hijacked my post where I want to learn about couponing. Not continue to be insulted. I know nothing about you thumbs program. But it sounds like alot of your friends just enjoy the comedy all this ruckus brings. Then you insult someone else because she doesn't agree with your opinion. I have had multiple PM's from people worried about your retaliation asking me not to stop posting. That you pick on someone new every month. So maam it is YOUR track record in question. You are rude!

Yes, I actually DID have a stalker that followed and commented slick comments on EVERY post I made. I was concerned since I post my real name that she would follow me in to my real life. I didn't make any of that up.

Now if YOU would just leave me alone and stop making slick backhanded comments on everything I post I would appreciate it. I am sure that you have other things to do in your life than worry about what a stranger posts in an internet forum.

Enjoy your Holiday. I will NOT be addressing anymore of your comments.

Wow! My very own forum stalker? I feel sooooo special. What a great way to start off the New Year!

Thanks, roflwofl but I do not need or want any kind of apology from LK. I do not believe most of the stuff that she has posted so I would not believe a false apology.

A couple of forum members have made a reference to LK's "wild bragging." I find it ironic that LK "brags" about "I was the Vice President of sales for a multi Billion dollar company in California and retired at 40. I've been all around the country." It seems to contradict her post "2017 I am focu sing on my financial picture. I am going to save money and pay off my bills."

Well I like rum. I had that last night. My stepdaughter brought me a nice bottle of dark rum from her cruise last month. I like wine, as long as it's dry. I am not a big tequila fan but will drink the occasional margarita. Forget shots, though. My inlaws made some Limoncello and gave it to us for Christmas. I may have to try some of that tonight as well. Oh, and don't forget the champagne and strawberries.

Can we move along with our holiday? This post has almost be thumbed to invisibility, like her others, so there is no point in continue to respond.

Happy New Year to everyone!
Oh, for TMI, I am going to have some whipped cream somewhere along the way with the champagne and strawberries.
