PayPal

Has anyone else had problems with PayPal? I am having a big verification problem with these people. I have sent copies of utility bills, a copy of my driver's license with my picture on it and everything else except a blood sample. Out of frustration I have advised a number of companies I do not accept PayPal as a payment processor any more. Yes, it is costing me shops, but I can't seem to get any successful resolve out of PayPal customer service, that's a joke.

As I mentioned in your post about this in the introduce yourself area, I have 2 basic accounts with them, one for shopping and one for eBay activity. Neither one was hard to open, neither one has had any issues except that the eBay one there was an attempt to hack twice over the years that I needed to go in, reverify and change passwords. That was an online process that I was notified by email that my account had been frozen due to hacking attempts. In both cases the reactivation was quick and simple. But my PayPal for eBay has probably been open close to a decade and is fairly inactive while my work PayPal has been open 5+ years with never the slightest problem.

I've been on paypal for 5 years, and no problem....

I have been on Paypal for 7 years. Using it just to receive MS payments I've had no problem. Using it for other purposes had caused more frustration than I could possibly explain.

IMO, they are an unorganized company at best; or theive if I choose not to give them the benefit of the doubt.

They are a great company to deal with if a problem never comes up. As soon as you have a problem though they are a nightmare. It can literally take years to get it worked out.

They receive interest on your money so if you are an eBay seller, they will come up with any reason they can to hold on to your money. And they legally can hold it for 6 months and do not have to give you a reason.
