Just got back a short time ago from a few days at North Myrtle Beach with hubby and fur-baby. Hubby had a Civitan District Convention meeting there. It was a very relaxing few days. One of the things DH & I love to do is play putt-putt, and we are VERY competitive about it. However, sadly, in the 34 years we've been married, I have only beaten him TWICE!!! Sooooooooooo sad! We've probably played close to 90 games over those 34 years. However.....ONE of those two times that I actually beat him was this past Saturday!! WOO-HOO! We had played the day before, on Friday, and I lost to him. But on Saturday, before we even began, I saw these adorable little gold-plated trophies, about 8" tall, some with women, some with men, some with just a golf ball. $12.50. So I told hubby, if I beat you, you are going to buy me that trophy of the female golfer!! So we played, and I beat him by ONE stroke!! (Well, really two, because I let him take a mulligan on another stroke when his ball went in the water, haha! But I didn't count it off on his score!). Anyhow, that little trophy is on my fireplace mantle, and it MEANS MORE TO ME THAN A 10-CARAT DIAMOND RING!! No kidding, it really does!! There's 34 years of putt-putt competition in that trophy!! Yay me!!!
Above all, it rests me (except for my laughing apparatus). This is how it is supposed to be! And, because I finish this project on Tuesday, I can have a few days in the kitchen area. When not making quantities of fave recipes, I will be thinking of the salad for which I know no recipe. It is taking shape in my mind..... so far it has almost all its colors, lacks only flavor (unless the reality is different from the theory, bwahaha), and should be tried twice and then perfected in time for Thanksgiving. This, to me, is fun. I think it will fortify for more projects...
Nonetheless, we are accomplishing the small task lists and tying up a few loose ends. Now, we are all programmed for storage moving day next week and there is no more over-stress on my feet and legs. No Unprintable More!
