What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

@maverick1, he is half Black Lab and Springer Spaniel. Tribulations for sure but so much love, laughter and entertainment. We have a 5 year old Golden Retriever as well. Both are beautiful and we can see the personality differences. We love them so. Enjoy your babysitting. I'm sure you are doting on the furry baby love.

I assigned everyone in my family jobs. Printed it and clipped a copy on the refrigerator and kitchen table so I don't have to repeat myself. There will be no more excuses as it will stare them in the face, LOL.
Trying to get lots of things done this weekend since I have jury duty on Monday and have no idea how long I will be there. Also want to have some meals prepped when I get home so I don’t have to deal with that when I get in.
I went to the Dutch Market down the street from me. I hit almost every shop, including the candy shop.

A few nights ago, I took an Aleve PM with a glass of wine. I was a zombie at work. On top of that, my allergies flared. I took today off from work. I ordered a new cell on 4/22 and haven't received it yet. Now, I have to go into the store which is inside of a mall. I'm looking to replace my dishwasher. I am going to use a local place that used to be shopped.

Seriously? I thought every adult knows not to mix sedatives with alcohol. That's how we get viral videos of people taking their clothes off while running down the aisle of a plane.
Sedatives and alcohol make for great sleep! They are how I sleep on planes. I took the Aleve PM too late in the evening, hence being a zombie.

Left my house to get to work today at 7AM and attended an after work event/party afterwards. Had a great time surprisingly.
Going to watch a Grandson play baseball. One mystery shop on the way.

Drove to the only B'Hai Temple in North America to visit. The docents were all vey welcoming and informative. The gardens were magnificent.
Drove to Banff for spring skiing. One mystery shop on the way.

Performed another oil and filter change in the truck. Now at 346K miles. I'm planning on getting another truck, but seriously, this is becoming like a challenge to achieve high score in a pinball game.

Anyone remember pinball games?

Um, don't think we don't know what you're doing...Banff is in Alberta. Alberta wants to split from the Canadian liberals. I'm not name calling here, but, um..."Separatist!"

Enjoy the skiing! I'm jealous.
I live in Alberta. You're welcome to these separatists.
Can I send them there?

Did you see the video of Nate from Kara and Nate doing heli-skiing west of you in BC?

I ask Hubby who's winning. He says look at the screen
I say, how does that help us have a conversation? smiling smiley
Obviously, I don't really care who's winning.
And I prefer dandelions to chemicals so probably not going to Google.
Off to make some tea (dandelion tea)

We all attended a bridal shower yesterday. Beautiful garden party outdoors. The abundance of beautiful fresh flowers for guests to make their own arrangements to take home was amazing. My Mom was in her element. So lovely. A great time was had by all.
@Madetoshop I'm not sure. Would you buy it in a tea shop?

It's the first day of summer semester, so I'm monitoring and double-checking the one online class section I have.

And I'm taking advantage of not having to be on campus to load up a 128GB USB drive with music (only had about 30GB on it) for upcoming roadtrips.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
@prince, My Mom frequents a fabulous Chinese herb shop and purchases dried, organic flowers there and brews it. We grew up on it and are infused. Some tea stores carry it. I have seen tea bags in Asian markets but have never tried them.
side note - it contains apigenin...one of the few things that can help me sleep lol.
Today? testing percolator coffee....have never tried it, haven't seen a machine since my grandparents had one

Perhaps I've had it. My friend goes to a tea shop and buys Flowers that you brew. Fun and interesting.

Subbing again today. Everyday last week and this week. At least Monday was a holiday.
I'm not up to this anymore. At all grinning smiley
