Just finished last day of Training for 2020 Census job.
A perfect fit with my mystery shopping routes
What type of work are you doing? I applied some time ago, and have gotten several emails that they haven't forgotten about me yet. I was an Enumerator in 2009/2010.

Today is a mountain of laundry.

Just came back from breakfast. I had French toast with fresh papaya, pineapple marmalade, strawberries and kiwi. It was awesome. Going to the pool and later a walk on the beach with my darling husband.
Right now I sitting here with a cup of jasmine tea, watching a much-needed rain come down. In a little while, I'll be putting together a turkey stew with dumplings. I used sage and thyme in most of my stews and soups. It makes the house smell good.
Today, after finishing reports for 7 shops, I decided to take a day off and do a lot of napping and cooking. I have more than 10 shops to do in a few days and another 3 the next day. But last night was a tough day to mshop. The icy sidewalks were slippery and we are in the icy and cold winter stage.

I had to wait for more than 30 minutes each at two shops without getting any rep to assist me. I could have made a report on them but the scheduler suggested that I try to go back before the deadline. So I will but not today. Today, I am experimenting in my kitchen. lol.
So there is another merch day until hiatus or retirement. (what. it pays well!) It also lets me postpone, by one day, the inevitable. I must begin to deal with the mountain of recyclable stuff that is squatting in my dining room. Most of it can be shredded, but it all must be checked just in case something else is in there. I am in the final days of the messiest cold I ever have had. Bleh. And, as soon as my eyes feel better I will try another type of contact lenses.

Watching the 5th Season of Fuller House. This would be the final one. Netflix finally decided to axe it.
Got our Christmas tree up and decorated the mantle on the fireplace, as well as put up a few other Christmas decorations around the house.
@guysmom We too put our Christmas tree up. We got a new one with ornaments and everything from Target.
I headed out to church this morning and a car had blocked me in my garage. I called and had an officer come out. He put in the order to tow it, but the owner moved it before the tow truck got there. I took the cap off of his tire valve, and he got a ticket.

I ended up getting to church at the tail end of communion.

Honny, did you at least get to see "New Guy" at church?? And, out of curiosity, why did you take the cap off of the tire valve of the car that had you blocked in?
Had salmon and shrimp eggs Benedict with asparagus for breakfast. OMG. Going to the pool now. Doing the same thing almost every day and I am not bored yet, lol! Wish I could post pics. We are at Playa Grande in Cabo San Lucas, there are tons of photos and reviews on TripAdvisor if anyone is interested in seeing this place. It's one of the best resorts I have ever visited.

Have a great day!
We received another contract on our house yesterday, and after talking with our agent she submitted a counter offer yesterday. The interested party countered back, and we're volleying it back to them trying to get just a TINY bit more money.

Hubby and I went to a historical shopping area. We stopped into a store that some friends own, then walked enough to get our 10,000 steps in. Part of the walk was on a riverfront trail, which led to an area that was new to us.

I am told to expect an offer Monday, hoping loan gets approved.....hassle to always leave house while Brokers are showing it.....today hopped around town, home now, and relaxing, eating, napping.

New Guy has the flu. We were supposed to get together on Friday, but he was too out of it.

I removed the valve cap because I didn't have a knife to slash the tire.

@JASFLALMT...We chose Crown Paradise because it had a water park for kids. There were other resorts in Cancun but nothing for kids. Sounds like you are not ready to come back!
Wowza. All I did was early work, more early work, and still more work at home...

Irene, I completely agree! I'm also getting tired of having the house ready to show every time I leave for the day, just in case I get a text asking for a showing.

LOL! OK, I get it! Hope "New Guy" gets feeling better!
Today, if I get off my fanny and get started, I intend to wrap a bunch of the kids' Christmas gifts that were stashed all over the house and in my car trunk. They're now spread all over our bed, dressers and floor. I really, really, really should have wrapped as I went, as now that I see everything in one place, I realize that we overdid it on the gifts. I am fully prepared for WrapFest 2019. I have Christmas songs playing, a quart of the best eggnog in the fridge, too many rolls of wrap, about 25 Christmas themed gift boxes, 12 bags, and at least a hundred bows. (Note to self: never send hubby to the dollar store to pick up a couple gift bags. He is an impulse buyer!)
Honny,
Now would be a good time to sell New Guy on the merits of getting an annual flu shot. If nothing else, to protect those around him, since he was probably contagious for some time before he realized that he was sick 79,000 deaths from flu last year !
