Finished two reports. Going to BoA to close 3 accounts that were opened for a shop with a very large bonus several months ago. ALL of the local BoA branches are requiring appointments no anything except teller transactions around here. Hauled trash and recycling to the curb this AM; hauling empties back when the evening cooling sets in. Figuring out where to fit all remaining June shops into the calendar while saving time/space for EOQ bonuses that may pop up later. Quick stop at Aldi on the way home from appointment.

Sorry this happened....feel better soon!@KathyG wrote:
Hubby and I were riding bikes and having a great time. All of a sudden my bike veered too much to the right, I corrected too much to the left, and ended up on the ground. Hit my head so hard I was thankful I had a helmet on, and had an impressive scrape on my knee.
Back at home my side hurts and raising my arm makes it hurt even more. Trying to decide if the symptoms are from a bruise or something more serious. According to the website of the urgent care, all of the nearby locations have at least 15 people on the waiting list, so I would be committing multiple hours for something that might not even be worth going for.
Decisions, decisions.

I ended up going to the urgent care. Was in and out of there in a little over an hour. The diagnoses was cracked ribs. Diagnosis doesn't make my side feel any better, but I can be quite the hypochondriac and now I have peace of mind that it's not more serious.

Yeah, I went and picked it up and got the OTC Melatonin. While I was at this Vets, I had a real nice talk with the gal up front. She told me up front, "We don't fight with any dogs. It doesn't accomplish anything. If this doesn't work, we'll figure out Plan B." So nice! We're taking him June 23rd and have to give him both Gabopentin & Melatonin both the night before and morning of. In addition, the morning of, I've got a syringe of a tiny amount of liquid tranquilizer to get into his mouth. The Vet said if he won't let me squirt it in his mouth, I can put it on some sort of treat and get him to take it that way. So.....just praying till then that it all goes well!!@Mert wrote:
Almost makes me cry just picturing his trauma, guysmom. Fingers crossed that the chill protocol works.
I met a lady a few weeks back who is a traveling vet, associated with a full-service clinic. I know there are farm vets who make house calls, just didn’t know there was such a thing for house pets. It’s a wonderful idea for certain needs.
