I wonder if I could make a Kahlua reduction and just pour it over the chocolate cake? But that would cook off the alcohol, nevermind.

When doing your crock buffet, have it both ways, sounds yummy either way, does powered sugar work over cake with a glass of Kahlua over rocks for the kick.
jas, just had an idea for your last profession, become a caterrer (spelt wrong too lazy to correct). You love to cook bet you'd be a huge success....

Well this was more fun than the tablet shops I have to go do. I just showered, time to get dressed and read over the guidelines for a refresher.
Yes. There is a reason that 95 percent of Hollywood and most pop singers are Liberals. They understand that there are thousands of other people with a similar level of talent and realize how lucky they are to have the chance to earn millions. By supporting the Democrats it somehow lessons the guilt of 'stealing' millions for each movie.

A few examples of actors who basically play themselves in every movie. Danny Devito, Whoopi Goldberg, Hugh Grant, Robin Willliams, Kurt Russel....

Meeting of Hollywood movie executives.

HME1: We need a middle aged white guy who can play a zany character like the guy from Mork and Mindy.

HME2: How about Robin Williams?

HME1: He died last year.

HME2: Damn! In the interests of diversity, why not have a fat black woman playing the character instead?

HME1: Good idea! How about Meryl Streep?

HME2: Not black enough. Halle Berry?

HM1: Too skinny.

HME2: A fat middle aged zany black woman.... Thinking totally out of the box..... How about Whoppi Goldberg?

HME1: Genuis! Here is a million dollars bonus!

There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
I made some killer pizzas a few days ago with goat cheese, feta, parm, mozzarella, crimini mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, fresh oregano, roasted garlic, and julienne asparagus. They were soooo good.
I think the reason has more to do with never having to work a "real" job.

Yes. That has a lot to do with their perceptions of the world. They live in a bubble and know little about the real world.

A lot of people "know" very little about anything, such as grammar, spelling, etc.
Thanks for the spell check. It is nice to know that you still make the effort to read my comments.
Depends on what you are blathering on and on about. Usually I don't make it past the first few sentences, and if I am lucky, they are coherent enough to understand. That doesn't often happen, though.

@moosehoose, I mentioned you in another post/thread/sub-board. You are not alone. Some people see this. smiling smiley

I'm actually reading plenty of condemnation of Weinstein. The board of the studio that he co-foundered voted Sunday to terminate him with cause. A bunch of actors and actresses, some of whose names I recognized, some I did not, have voiced disapproval for Weinstein and support for the victims who came forward. I read statements from Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, Glenn Close, Kate Winslet, and a bunch of others who supported the victims and spoke out against Weinstein. I was most impressed with Kate Winslet's statement:

“The fact that these women are starting to speak out about the gross misconduct of one of our most important and well regarded film producers, is incredibly brave and has been deeply shocking to hear. The way Harvey Weinstein has treated these vulnerable, talented young women is NOT the way women should ever EVER deem to be acceptable or commonplace in ANY workplace.

“I have no doubt that for these women this time has been, and continues to be extremely traumatic. I fully embrace and salute their profound courage, and I unequivocally support this level of very necessary exposure of someone who has behaved in reprehensible and disgusting ways. His behaviour is without question disgraceful and appalling and very, very wrong. I had hoped that these kind of stories were just made up rumours, maybe we have all been naïve. And it makes me so angry. There must be ‘no tolerance’ of this degrading, vile treatment of women in ANY workplace anywhere in the world.”

I want to add my condemnation of this and other abusers - I guess my condemnation is probably worth coffee if I add $3.
Roflwofl...yes, I read and heard the same, he has been let go from his company...and his Atty. bailed out on him.
His life is over, same as Bill Crosby. I love members that give you all the facts, as if this would ever be anyone else's fault, he will have to take his own responsibility, his reputation is ruined, and I can only speak for California, which is a very progressive state concerning woman's rights. I thank you for posting in an intelligent way and giving all the facts. Speaking on a subject like this, let's get our information right. Abusers lose, woman are finally fighting back..and everything is now out there, .no one should ever take advantage of another, in a perfect world, and we have a long way to go. #Harvy Weinstein, Bill Crosby and all other abusers...we see you.
p.s. Roflwofl...meet for coffee and intelligent conversation.

It's about time our society stood up and called out the abusers of women. It's appalling that many have gotten away with such behavior for so long.
Thanks to social media, computers and able to know what goes on behind the scene, everything is exposed.
Lets not forget Anthony Weiner.....the biggest putz, on his way to jail.....Martini anyone...smiling smiley

I was just reading about Matt Damon's and Russell Crowe's role in killing the story of Rose McGowen's abuse.

The people involved in the cover up need outing as much as possible. They aren't much better than the abusers themselves. I feel this story will run and run.

everything is exposed. pun intended.
weiner actually has non impressive putz
Did Gloria Allred abuse her own daughter by making herself a focus of attention instead of letting the daughter, a qualified professional, represent Weinstein without parental or other interference? Weinstein does deserve the best defense possible. All accused persons do, regardless of Allred and her opinion of Weinstein. Should the daughter be managing, at least to some degree, the case publicity? Has this professional opportunity been squashed by Gloria Allred? Is this form of parental interference with adult children an actual instance of abuse, or is it just disrespectful, irritating and inappropriate?

According to the little information I have seen, the daughter is doing a great job with maintaining her own dignity and bringing intelligence to her legal defense of an unpopular person.

Gloria Allred's daughter has been a successful Atty. for over 15 years with her own practice, and quite capable of making her own decisions, and to quote you, yes, you do have "little information", so why talk at all....everything you write is made up in your head, just the facts please.

FYI: Most of them only spoke up after Weinstein was canned - now he can't influence their careers any more.

As mentioned previously many of those 'celebs' covered for Weinstein and more or less blamed the victims.

Irene, this informatin is litle compared to the immenseness of Gloria Allred's presence where it does not belong.

Just as you praise your daughter's accomplishments but stay out of her career, so do many other parents respect their children's careers.

Gloria Allred may be exploiting her fame at the expense of her daughter's best professional efforts. This client may then suffer. The daughter may suffer.

Is Gloria Allred abusing her own daughter? Is she also giving the larger legal profession a proverbial black eye?

LOL! I think there is too much abuse inside the fight against abuse. Do you know how long it took to find out that Bloom is out and other counsel is in? There is abuse of privilege and of access to information.
Before I get all riled up about any cause, I am going to spend an inordinate amount of time sorting out facts, factoids, and full-on lies.
