So here is a potential, partial solution to the errant cart/buggy issue. What if shoppers brought their own collapsible transporters and used them to transport groceries from store to vehicle? Could we invent one that would work inside the store as well as outside the store? This would reduce the workload of employees, thereby reducing wage and risk costs. It might mollify the busy, the car-dinged, and others who would like the world's parking lots to be a little more convenient and/or safe. If we could patent the design, we might profit from this issue.
