I would be a musicologist, among other things. From experience, I know how different sounds, music, and "music" affect me. All is well when I choose what I hear, how loud or soft it is, and for how long I will listen. I surmise that a significant number of people who are especially audio-aware do well when they have substantial choice in what they hear, or are exposed to via their hearing sense. This soft science can contribute in a small way to health and well-being. As I have been noisy in the forum, I will go away now and leave a quiet space for the folks who would like a little break from so much of me.
