I just updated my level of cable, and my bill was more than they quoted me...I'm refusing to pay a cent over what they quoted me. .I like certain programs but they are all re-runs, lifetime movies was the only good one, but for the money I'll go to the show. Monday i'm going into Spectrum, who bought out our old Time Warner, and now charge for info, over the phone...ripoff and I'm so mad.
How can they charge so much for nothing......I don't have Netflix, will think about it, hopefully, they have good shows.
Create a life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good on the outside.....

Mum- Ahhh Mr. Darcy!!!! Reason I started watching Ripper Street was because I wanted to see him again. However, I will say his clothing choices in Ripper Street are less desirable than in Pride & Prejudice. The Pin Striped pants kill me!
So Jessica Jones Season 2 is available now on Netflix, went to start watching the series and realized i had completed Season 1 already and completely forgot what had happened. Now re-watching Season 1. Hate when I can't remember a show!
I finished Cult after the weekend and enjoyed it very much! Thank you sassyangi for the suggestion. I was so excited to see the actor who played Rick from Vampire Diaries still carrying his shoulder bag!
I suggest cut the cord. I have Roku. It allows you select channels you actually watch. If I want HBO for one month I pay one month no contracts. All you need is an internet connection. I got an antenna for $9 at Walmart to get local channels. I am sure any streaming stick will work.
I like Netflix with the Chromecast option. I have it on both my TV's. @Christy1879, Thank you for Ripper Street. I am starting Season 3 today and that is one hour of interesting workout on the treadmill while watching one episode each day!! And yes, the pin striped pants are killing me too. Jackson's trousers are equally horrible
It's a remake of the old classic with the same name. Valerie Bertinelli of Hot in Cleveland was a child star in the old series. It's a family comedy like George Lopez. I love the mother Lydia played by Rita Moreno. She is one of the few stars to get an Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Tony!! Although, my husband..not a fan..He likes his Jessica Jones
Life unexpected is a great series as well. Has a lot of great actors that I recognize from many of my other favorite shows like-Dawson's Creek, Roswell, The Secret Circle, Beauty and the Beast(Cable series), Shanara Chronicles, Lost Girl, etc.
So glad you liked it Mum! Another series I liked that was a thriller was The Falling and The Killing. When Calls the Heart is less a thriller, but a mystery family oriented show. Let me know which one you like. Another great one is The Call of the Midwife-Recounts how things were done and overlooked back in the day and how midwifery was done. Characters really make the show.
Longmire was what brought me to Netflix. Then came Parenthood. Then:
Better Call Saul
Orange is the New Black
Anne with an E
Santa Clarita Diet
House of Cards
Lost in Space
Grace and Frankie
Gosh, looking at this list, I think I am spending too much time watching tv!
