rip Senator John McCain

I did not agree with all his views, and he would not have minded at all about that. I absolutely loved that he raised his arms as high as he could. His arms raised my views to the point where I could no longer avoid questioning activism and some activist tactics. Thank you, Senator McCain, for this inspiration and for your service which only stopped when you were given this chance to rest.

R.I.P. indeed. His passing is a great loss to our country. One of the few that serve in Washington that actually believe that integrity, honor, and doing the right thing was more important than partisanship.

While I often disagreed with him, I respected him. And he, in turn, respected those who disagreed in a professional manner with him. He actually ran the Senate committee that he chaired as if the ranking Democrat on the committee was a co-chair, which meant that the committee actually prepared and passed bi-partisan funding bills every year. How many in Washington would/could count on both President Bush and President Obama to eulogize them?

Sad weekend in Arizona, he was such a household name here. Thinking of attending the funeral on Thursday. I could hear the procession on Saturday. Our country lost a great one sad smiley
A remarkable man that I admired tremendously. He left an example that all too few aspire to these days.
God Bless John McCain.....I never voted for him but I did admire him......still do.
My office is right across the street from The Capital here in Phoenix. The amount of people paying their respects and celebrating his life is just amazing
RIP John McCain , you earn our respect from the time you was in the POW Camp and refuse tto take a eraly out because of who you were to the time you sat a lady right about your foe in the election. You have left the coumtry you loved better off because you service it so well.
I was trying to think of a time that I ever agreed with him on policy. Maybe half an agreement here or there but eh, not much. I sure did admire him though.
