Best buy bought for holidays....

What is the best buy you got on sale this year....
1. I got a copper steak knife set for $3.00 at Kohl's and love them.
2. Michael Kors handbag for $99.00, off 30.00 and love it.
3. Jeans at Macy's 80% off, cost $13.00......
How about you.

Food Network cookware for $60 from Kohl's, King sized Serta Mattress for $650 from their website, Entertainment center at Ikea for $230 (priced at $550)
I stuck two quarters into the vending machine. My junk food fell out and so did the two quarters.
I have been making photo albums of our vacation in May for my four kids. I have finished two of the albums, and both were going to be $98.00...until I put in the "holiday code" and got 70% off.

Looks like the other 2 albums will be at full price, though. The deal ran it's course yesterday and I didn't get them all done by then....
You said for the holidays, and then you mention only things you bought for yourself, so I am not sure which way I should answer....

No one said that they bought the named items for themselves. Or, did I miss something ?

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
@walesmaven I guess the "and I love it" part is what confused me. I assume if you love it it was for you, my apologies, it is Monday if I can use that as an excuse.

As for gifts for others, I am still working on peoples lists, and nothing stands out as a great deal yet.

I got myself (so not a holiday item) a really nice new wireless thermometer set for my grilling/smoking/brewing, I paid full price, but I love it.

I bought the items, but it doesn't matter who for, what bargain did you get over the holidays? Title, "Best Buy you got for the holidays", unless I'm going nuts, I didn't say who they were for, just that I love them.

Yes, I just bought them when I got a 30% off discount through the mail, there was one set left, but today I picked up the cutest sweater coat for 4.50 and it looks great, was 65.00...definitely check them out.

I got a $65 Columbia fleece jacket for $29 at Kohl's. Better price than the Columbia outlet!

Bought $99+ worth of Legos on sale (gifts for the kiddos) and got a free collectible carousel -- which I'm turning around for $30 or more on feebay. Would've been even better with a Lego shop, but looks like those were all snagged up quickly.

I saved over $200 on a new Samsung cell phone. My old phone was running out of memory.

I also bought a motion activated animal repellent (solar) for $18 and it's normally almost $80. My neighbor's yard is like Animal Kingdom and their cats and dogs are always on my car or on my porch and so far, this little gadget has kept all animals away.

I also bought toys for a toy drive in my local area. I bought one toy and got the other toy free. So, I was able to buy 4 awesome toys for the price of two.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
Pearl earrings, perfume, slippers, a thermal shirt, 2 Ralph Lauren pillows, a bath mat and a Mickey Mouse plush...all free after rebate, courtesy of Macy’s.

My house. I bought it for $20,000 less than the asking price.

I got my iPad fixed. The front glass was shattered and I've been without it for over a year. Also it is so old it is currently on iOS 10.3.1 (iOS devices are currently running iOS 12-something). But still it is nice to have it back, plus the reimbursement and expense were close, so I have an overall profit coming back.
I worked for a $100 bracelet today. Reimbursed except for the sales tax. My trendy daughter will love it.
Bought a bunch of Clinique stocking stuffers today from Macy's online. A package of $3+ makeup remover towelettes got me 6 trial sized Clinique products. Spent $10 for wanted products.

Congrats! Bought a beautiful home for my parents that was a perfect fit for them. Also, they can finally upgrade to something that can fit me, my sister and her family, etc. more comfortably whenever we visit on the weekends!

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
Found (as a afterthought) a nice necklace on sale, tag said $5.45, bought it and sent it to my daughter, which she loved and sent a pic of her wearing it Thanksgiving out with her boyfriend...filled my heart, and thank you Kohl,
gotta love those mis-marked's.

Safe: New brakes for the car.

Fun: Different designers' pieces, purchased at different thrift stores, are perfect together and cost next to nothing. Makes me wonder if there are one designer, one dye lot, and multiple labels. But I digress.

Silly: I have been finding all sorts of alternate holiday song lyrics. This is possibly blasphemous, or it might just be absurd. But whatever. People are clever; some are hilarious. grinning smiley
