I'm just a big mess right now

My husband fell and broke his hip on 12/6. My sister was in the hospital with a serious lung issue since Thanksgiving. She passed away on Saturday. The same day, our SUV died while I was driving with husband in car. Had to get towed and have friend fetch us with wheelchair and walker. UGh, I am so trying to keep it together, but I have Meniere's Disease and sometimes experience vertigo, brought on by who knows what..but stress is a factor. I can't fall apart right now. There are too many people depending on me. My sons are coming up for the memorial service. I have to make room in house for extra guests. Husband can't put weight on leg so sleeps in bed in living room. My life is currently a hot mess. I am trying to do all my scheduled shops, but I don't know if I can keep up with all of them. It can only get better, right?

Just wanted to type this out, because I don't think I have feeling anymore. I'm sort of numb and just going through the motions.

Thanks for allowing me to vent a bit.

I am so sorry you are at the center of all this madness. Stay strong. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Are any of us near you to where we can help? Can you reach out to neighbors, churches or your local aid volunteers to get help? I understand all too well....
So sorry that you are going through everything. It's not easy to lose a sister and it's hard being the rock for everyone. I know how hard it is having a sick/injured husband and trying to keep it together. Please take some time for yourself to just relax and try and make it through the day. Will have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Have been watching Monk. I wanted to give you the quote from the old, retiring runner who restored Monk's damaged spirit somewhat, but this one was accessible today.

Monk: I'm half-man, half-wuss. I'm a muss.

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. - Lao-Tzu

Oh my goodness; I am so sorry you are experiencing all this and losing your sister. I have Meneires too and understand about the stress. ????
MsJudi, let the shops go. Contact and cancel any assignments that won't fit with your life.

Best wishes for you and yours.
When it rains, it pours! Sorry to hear about your situation. I've found that if you explain things to the schedulers they will be very sympathetic.

MsJudi, my heart goes out to you. Keep your head up. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. You are a strong woman. Just remember, everything we think we will not survive, we survive. You have all of us. If you need to talk, we're here for you.

MsJudi, Hugs and prayers to you. Times are tough for you right now, but just take one day at a time. So sorry for the loss of your sister.
Prayers for you and your family, MsJudi. Try to rely and friends and family as much as you can. If you do meditation or yoga I've heard that helps some people get through a bad patch. Think about past good and positive memories. When times are tough people pick different things to help them get through. Do what works best for you. God Bless.
