I sold a lot of stuff on Craigslist when I first moved to the US. My husband had a wide assortment of things he never needed. I cleaned out his bachelor pad in a couple of months. Got good money for it too. That was 2008. Unfortunately, not many people go on Craigslist anymore. After buying our new house, I had put up a few stuff on Craigslist. I was unable to sell anything and donated all the stuff to Goodwill. After a week or so, someone contacts me on Craigslist for our old dining table. It was too late by then.
I donate. The things I then want or need appear in my life in good and amazing ways, often at no cost to me. Someone said this is not business, it is spiritual business. I dunno about that. It just works for me.
I donate so much I'm queen of donations..just finished cleaning out closet and am down from 20 pairs of jeans to a basic 10 which I will wear, and the woman's center will get the rest. My expensive things I have chosen to put online and sell, have not been successful, but I'll wait it out.
