rip Mrs. Peel (Diana Rigg)

I loved her in 'The Avengers' and on PBS. I did not see much of her other work, though.

Perhaps she is ready for more adventures now.

I remember her from the 1987 movie Snow White where she played the evil queen. My husband says she was in Game of Thrones that I never watched. Bless her soul.

She was excellent in "Victoria" but I'll always remember her as the star of the "Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir" ("Bowler hat and leather boots")- The Avengers title in French, as I first saw her in the dubbed French broadcast in the mid 1970-s.
