I'm trying to grow oregano. I have 1 piece left. I had 20 seeds that sprouted but it all died. Supposedly it was 30 this morning.

I picked up some oregano cuttings on Freecycle over the summer. I placed them in a big glass of water on the windowsill to let the roots come in. I potted them over the weekend. So far, so good. The leaves are huge.
I have one basil stem in the windowsill garden. I'm going to cut and root it, rinse and repeat until I have a full plant. The basil on the deck in a pot has very small leaves.
The mint, green onion, cilantro and chamomile are just...we won't discuss those.

I planted morning glory seeds in a cup for my living room. I have many buds on it and soon will have white glories blooming. They like sun.
My citronella cutting never made it. I have cuttings from spearmint but lavendar hasn't rooted yet. I can take pieces off kilanchoe too. Coleus will root in water too. A lot of plants will.

This year, I'm going to put a little epsom salt on them to see if they will produce more like my friends say.

I'm going to start a compost bin for next year. I'm really planning ahead.
