We just mark them and when Jacob, the owner and moderator of the forum, wanders by, he knows to use the "Search" feature and check for "Spam". That locates the posts for him to "take out the trash" and trash the spammer.

Edited to add: If they are truly offensive and need to be dealt with quicker, you can PM Jacob to alert him. He is the initiator of the Word Association Game in the Chat section and that thread is usually near the top. He also has the "Sticky" on the Job Board. Just click on his name in blue to start sending him a message. Most of the spams, however, can wait until he drops by.

And hey, Jacob, thank you!

The user paraphrased a post of mine in the thread, then posted a bunch of spam links. I'll mark the thread. I wasn't sure how to report it since there its no flag mechanism in place. Thanks!
Yes, the 'repeater bot spammers' do seem not to even be able to regurgitate a quotation correctly. They can be very puzzling to try to figure out what the poster is attempting to convey until you realize it is just a spammer.
As much as I hate CAPTCHA systems because they often make it impossible for the visually impaired to access a site, I think it would a good thing here.

At least the site owner here is on top of things by using searches, though! Some sites go downhill very fast.

I am glad someone mentioned about spamers. I think it is so really horrible for people to spam this wonderful board.
Well, it's an active board, which means many eyes see the posts any given day. To a spammer, it's worth hitting with a spambot.
