Paramount Plus aka Cbs all access

I got the commercial free version of cbs all access. I paid $99 for a year. This year I am going with $5.99 a month for having commercials. I watch Survivor a lot!! My favorite tv show of all time. Does anyone have Paramount Plus?

I did the free trial of CBS on my Fire Stick to watch "The Good Wife." I have them OnDemand through Verizon, so I refuse to pay anything additional.

Haha. I decided not to pay. I cancelled any membership. I pay for Spectrum app and I have Amazon Prime to watch!!! smiling smiley
Exactly! I have a lot of free movies and TV shows with Prime Video and Verizon. I don't have Netflix or movie channels.

heather how come you can't use a Fire TV stick? You just plug it into one of your HDMI ports.

You can get Spectrum without a cable box if you have a smart TV that has Roku capabilities (most newer Samsung and TCL TVs) or a Roku stick. This saves you the $8 or so box rental fee.

Perhaps that's what they meant that the Fire stick wouldn't work?
I have Spectrum app and have 3 hdmi ports so I can use firestick. I have no cable. I have no smart tv. Thanks
Amazon firestick is not expensive and it claims I can watch Survivor ..... so I don't have to pay just to watch Survivor.
Even with a Fire Stick you have to pay for the CBS app.

I got a 4K Fire Stick for my living room before I got my wireless Verizon box. With the Fire Stick, I could download any TV app, but I had to sign in with my Verizon account.

I don't think you can watch current episodes of Survivor on the Fire Stick without the CBS app.

You are right Honny. Amazon and I would get Survivor 1, 3 and 12-28 only. I have no need for the firestick as I don't have HULU , Netflix etc. I thought I would get more stations. I would like to watch National Geographic also. I pay enough now!!
My living room is not wired for cable. I got a 4K Fire Stick (Amazon has their own studios) in an attempt to "cut the cord."

Nope! I had to use my FIOS login for almost every app I downloaded. There were a few, and I mean few, apps available for free, such as IMDB. my LG TV has free stations but they are standard, not high definition.

I like live TV so I got a wireless cable box.

They shut off my Survivor 23 just as Ozzy and Brandon were to go to a challenge at Redemption island. It was episode 12 or 13. I had to look up who won. No biggie.
edited to say I won't renew.

I lasted 1 day without Survivor. loI >signed up for $5.99 a month with "limited commercials." The commercials are short and I can get up to do stuff..... I watch it every day. Watching season 25 in Phillipines. smiling smiley
CBS didn't extend your free trial?

I have thoroughly enjoyed Amazon Prime video. Many good movies. We listed quite a few movies in Amazon Prime days and movies thread. Enjoy smiling smiley
I went through CBS directly and got a 60 day trial. That was enough for what I wanted to watch.

Now, regular broadcast shows on CBS and other stations. During my 2-month freebie, I watched The Good Wife.

I let mine run out but the new Survivor will be on Wed Sept 22 so I will renew. I called Spectrum and they want $29.99 a month for tv choice plan which is I pick 10 channels. big deal. I can get Paramount plus for $5.99 per month!!
Now I pay $4.99 and can watch Survivor the next day but not live. They raised the price to $9.99 to watch it live. I do watch Australian Survivor and that is great too. Some of it is filmed in Fiji and some filmed in Australian outback....
I am doing the free trial of Hulu to watch some vintage shows. I may keep it.
