Food Demo jobs

Everything here seems to pretty much deal with mystery shopping, but I have a question about a company that hires food demo people. The company is Market Force Plus and they are out of KY. I did a demo job for them on 3/26 and they confirmed receipt of my paperwork. I have since sent 3 emails to the scheduler to find out when we would be paid and received no response. Has anyone else had any experience with them. They also say they do mystery shopping. This is Market Force Plus not Market Force which is based out of another area.

When I Google, I find no Market Force Plus except what has been posted here as folks asked about it, and I believe the person who asked was you. You need to go back to your emails for a phone number, or to the website and look for a phone number or however you found the company in the first place. If no one is responding to emails, you need to get on the phone and find out what is going on.
I do have a phone number and an email address for Market Force Plus. Their web address is a one page only site with no links. I heard of the job via Shadow Shopper. It was a call for about 15 people for a 1 day event throughout the state.
The pay rate they quoted was standard for demos so it sounded legit.

The assignment was 3 weeks ago. I have left 3 phone calls and 3 emails for the scheduler to get a pay date and no response. One of the emails I got from them to send in my report included the email addresses of the other demonstrators. I have emailed each of them to see if they have heard anything about pay. A couple of responses I got back said they were told it would be 3-5 weeks.

So here's my question. I have a phone number for the regional rep for the company that asked for the demonstrators. Do you think I should call him to let him know that I am getting no response as to getting paid? Or should I wait until 5 weeks go by?
That you are going to be a better judge of than anyone else. Your criteria for judgment would be your gut feeling about the folks you were interacting with, i.e. the schedulers, the company, the work. It is annoying to have heard nothing, of course, but if you went into the job feeling good about it and the folks you were dealng with, I would go on and give it the 5 weeks and then start thinking about the regional rep. And who knows, the regional guy/gal may be no more responsive once the work is done than your schedulers.
