Where have the long time posters with great experience gone?

The personal opinion of a seasoned video shopper who has been very active since 2005 OR many random reviews on the internet...hhmmm

The reliable choice is obvious.

CANADAMOMMY,
You still have not told us what other options you are referring to. My response is based on what video MS companies and their clients have determined is the best option for their video shops. The exceptions are for rare types of shops where head-mounted video is preferred for brief interactions where shirt-mounted video will not work. Examples: drive-thru bank or parking attendant interactions. In those cases glasses-mounted cams or ear-mounted (to look like an ear-mounted microphone) are the best options. Unfortunately, longer videos, such as apartment or new home work, done with head-mounted cams, tend to make the viewer develop vertigo due to the jerkiness of the video. That is only tolerable for about 2-5 minutes of viewing. The two apps developed for use with cell phones did not live up to expectations and are seldom sought by video MSCs and their clients except for very short interactions. My sources include many discussions at 10+ shopper conferences with many video MSC owners, editors and schedulers, as well as with the former developers of the cell phone apps. Again, please tell us what other options are on your "best for video shops" list.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

My takeaway: most video shops use the body cam, and some video shops are completed with glasses or other gear.

Sad part is if you go to Facebook they attack you there. I never share anything that happens to me anymore.
I am not giving an answer. I am saying to each his own opinion.

I do drive through video shops on a Samsung tablet I pair it with my phone s I can see what it sees. I learned that after it switched to selfie mode during one shop. Nice video of the car seat.
