I'm doneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I just got my grade for my last of 72 Marathon shops. The last one was 187.5 miles from home! We went on a road trip to Appalachia and did lots of shops along the way in two days. Pulled in some rural post offices, Dairy Queens, a couple of Mattress stores and a couple of Cell Phone stores and a Five Guys burger shop along with my last two gas stations.

I am so glad to be done with those Marathons. I'm putting in my bid for hometown route this next quarter. I have PAID MY DUES on the rural shops. I might have made $100 after all the gas and motels. lol

Home again.

Wouldn't you know that I drove 187 miles each way to pick up those last two shops only to pass a gazillion Marathon stations along the way. I got home and found out no one had taken that whole route so all those stations were up for grabs along with all the ones in the far eastern southeastern KY ones. I came up with 30 I was willing to go after that weren't so far from home and just did 3 days in the booniest of the boonies. I picked up 3 heavily bonused post offices and a retail shop along the way. Expenses were $105 in motel expenses and 638 miles of gasoline but I grossed about $600 and 30 convenience store items like sodas and chips for the family.

I get to stay home a bit now. Only have a couple of $20 ff shops on Tuesday. Going to write the 20 reports I have left and then get busy packing and ready to move. I'll be moving the second weekend of July. Need to get some rest. I've been running on about 4 hours a night for a while.

Congraulations, job well done.....you've got the spirit of a young kid, I swear, but in a good way!!
