Gift Giving for the Holidays

Ya all can just call me a weirdo.. I do not and have never watched Seinfeld or Friends. And I never will.

I taught my son to make breadon Christmas Day, it took 2 tries, but he made 4 big loaves of white sandwich bread, 2 in loaf pans and two round loaves on a baking sheet. I think I'm gonna try to get him to make english muffins, there is a new store around the corner than has deal on bulk purchases, one of the things they advertised this week is a 10 lb case of pre-cooked breakfast sausage patties. My mind went directly to egg mcmuffins, so some of those made with fresh homemade english muffins might be popping out of my kitchen soonly..

Update: the $3 “toboggans” were a hit!
Service, I can't do front end work anymore.
Service,

There used to be a really big flea market in Grand Prairie a Dallas suburb SW of Dallas. If you're serious about it.

I think it was called Trader's Village.

Oh, he's serious. -lol- I can already tell I'll be taking him to Canton for First Monday.

I want to hit up the Red, White, and Blue thrift store. I know there is one in Houston. There may be one in Dallas. I definitely need to hit up Buc-ee's. The Doc will be working some when I visit, so, I can go out and source which will help me write off part of the expense.
So, that's Houston and Arlington, which is a good excuse for me to go to SiNaCa and do some glasswork, plus they have Rita's Italian Ice up there. The huge Bucee's are along 35 and 45, so those are doable.

I have a feeling I'll come down with a nasty cold and require a couple of days away from work to recuperate. -coughs-

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
