It's a pause to just watch a military parade go by while pondering the existing big, beautiful laws being enforced. It's peaceful actually.

None of the major networks covered the parade for fear it would be viewed as an endorsement. Only FOX with their mind numbing pedestrian coverage. Rump looked bored and distracted 15 minutes in. In my family (my nephews and my cousins' sons) we have 2 in the Marine Corps, 3 in the Army, 1 in the Coast Guard, 1 Air Force captain, and 1 Air Force Lt. Colonel. Besides being related to me, they all have something in common: they all despise Trump. Of course this is not something they would discuss in public or within the ranks of their military branches, but they have all said it to me and other family members over the past several years. And 1 of the Army nephews was just commenting to his mother about how disgraceful it was for Trump to make yesterday's parade all about him. He should have distanced himself and celebrated his birthday separately and with some dignity, but he is incapable of doing that.

Next up...use the U.S. tax code to crack down on illegal aliens...oh, yeah!

What is the "burden" for American tax payers for undocumented immigrants ? They saved me money on my roof, $8000 (Venezuelans, that I didn't know or care about their status) I have seen families of Latino's 5,6,7 or more (11 one time) spending $1000's at BJ's Wholesale club locally (3 miles from my house, and adding money to the local economy) Let alone grocery stores, car repairs, fast food and other dining) My family and friends, NEVER feared them and they all worked hard for their FAMILIES ! This is VERY IMPRESSIVE in the "divorce society" we live in. The husbands working 10+ hour days, ALL THE TIME ! I thought Americans were the hardest working class of people ??? Oh wait !! That was in the past ! My daughter and son are both managers (Wawa and Papa Johns) Our area, starts at a min of $15.00 an hour. Most get hired at $16+. They go through employees, like we use toilet paper ! Most last 2 or 3 days, up to 2 weeks (get a paycheck or 2) then quit ! Which I will blame on the AMERICAN FAMILY ! What they teach or lack of teaching their children (the most disagreeable teaching or LACK of...is continued racism !!!) I have 4 children (25 to 32, 2 boys (one oldest and the youngest) and 2 girls in the middle. ALL are hard working, polite and very responsible. ALL were taught, to respect other people (no matter of skin color, money, clothes, cars, etc.) We also LOVED OUR CHILDREN ! Other kids never wanted to leave our house ! They loved our environment of love, kid friendly activities and family meals ( we learned over time, most of the kids had terrible home lives) Even just getting a hug from their parents) My daughters friends, always wanted a hug from me (their dads didn't hug them ) Just to finish on this... When our kids wanted a phone, I told them they needed to get a job and pay for it. Cars, we paid the down payment and they paid the monthly bill. They learned to be responsible and appreciate what they had and earned. They care about what they purchase and TAKE CARE OF THE THINGS THEY BOUGHT ! Unfortunately a lot of RUMP’s supporters never took the time or had an interest in who was running our country, local offices, schools etc. This becomes obvious even when superficially engaging with them. Scratch the surface of their political knowledge and there’s more surface. At some point they decided to support him without knowing anything about his character, business dealings, moral compass etc. - NOT TO MENTION HIS TOTAL LACK OF POLITICAL EXPERIENCE. If they did know these things they still didn’t care, which only compounds their culpability for many of the major crises our Country now faces. They were impressed by his tough guy persona and promises which never materialized. Did they also buy into his opinion that our military is comprised as ‘suckers and losers?’ No border wall, no reduction in the cost of ‘groceries’ (which has suddenly become a weird sounding word to him.). It makes one wonder if they’ve ever felt had. I’ll go as far as to say that he did nothing about Covid early on as a way to create a major crisis that would distract from his imminent impeachment woes. Expect that this same sort of thing can happen again.

I’m open to listening and learning from respectful opposing political views. Unfortunately I’m not seeing that type of discourse with Rump supporters - anywhere. Anyone can copy and paste BS they dig up from questionable internet sources, or come on here to make nasty pot shots and run. * Nothing to see here, keep moving please….* but like their leader, they have no real convictions. As far as the undocumented workers go, ITA. They deserve better. The current setup is turning them into a permanent underclass. In reality their values are commendable and statistics show a low crime rate within the population. Family, hard work, wanting nothing more than a simple and happy life. On a side note - Nothing irks me more than US citizens who have been needlessly on the dole for years, then come out of the woodwork to hysterically complain when the Gov’t isn’t doing enough for them after a natural disaster. They can’t at a minimum take responsibility for their own shelter and upkeep of their housing to begin with, but the world needs to come to their immediate rescue. Truly ungrateful and pathetic. Here's one I worked on:..The problem was a long product improvement cycle on the manufacturing floor for Engineering Development Builds.

I suggested that an existing drawing would be marked up with red lines for added notes, dimensions, and features. Yellow lines would be used to strike out notes, dimensions, and features that were no longer applicable. A copy would be retained with initials and date by the Engineering Lead. The Production floor would be authorized to work to said mark-up drawing(s) while final drawings were approved and updated. I worked with our Government representative who agreed to this method.
