Musk’s Fireballs

I’m sorry but I’m having a hard time reconciling the dichotomy between Musk’s need to cut gov’t waste, and his wasteful spending on a Space X craft landing on Mars. (utilizing taxpayer $)

What’s the lure for future generations to want to live on the most desolate and inhospitable place in the universe? Is this something that the elite aspires to and I didn’t get the memo? WTF am I missing here?

Should it come at the expense of the wholesale selloff of our confidential, personal information to China? What about the cost to the environment - including human and wildlife - exposed to the fallout from these ginormous, hazardous, pollution spreading fireballs? Who pays for the cleanup??? How on earth can a vanity project like this get so out of hand? Shut it - the F - down! It’s not even on his own home turf.

minime,

Musk only gutted departments that had regulatory control over his companies and projects. He made it so he could get way more money from the goverment without any push back.
Exactly MLZ. His shameless self dealing didn’t go over the heads of the public like he thought it would. Fireball Whiskey must be having a field day with this.
Just wait until they sell off public lands to make a buck, never mind that they could be purchased by foreign nationals.

Jgardn02:
