National Senior Citizens Day

If you qualify, may you be blessed and revered today and every day. If you have yet to reach this milestone, may you get there in a world in which you will be blessed and revered every day.

A few add'l thoughts... it is also the anniversary of the release of Dirty Dancing... it is Thursday, which some people say is the right day to listen to Jupiter from The Planets (I do not disagree and suggest that every day is a great day for this music; Jupiter is the bringer of jollity)... some businesses might offer special deals for citizens today...

Speaking of Dirty Dancing, a defunct company where I once worked had security questions on their accounts. At that time (around 2005), the favorite movies for female customers were Dirty Dancing and Pretty Women. Male customers liked Rocky or True Grit.

Trivia-I shocked a caller by recognizing "Manon Des Sources" a foreign film.

Every Tuesday at Ross Dress for Less :-)
If you are a senior citizen, Kroger is offering 5% off your entire in-store purchase today, September 3rd. You may have to mention it to them - my store had no idea. It's only for in-store shopping, pickup doesn't count.
