Save the drama for your mama

Oh the drama! I watch my daughter's friends on social networking sites post drama and sometimes their parents do it too.

I always say group dynamics does not mature much beyond high school level. My daughter will be a freshman in high school this year and I'm bracing myself for the increase in dramatic behavior from her, her friends, and the group dynamics I'll be involved with in her sports and other activities.

I tend to ignore dramatic people usually. I don't give them the attention as a reward for negative behavior.

How do you handle drama?

Evaluating and mailing packages since 1994. I am an undercover connoisseur of customer service, a master of disguise in the aisles, and a sworn enemy of subpar experiences. I blend in, observe, and report—because excellence should never be a mystery.

Drama has it's place...just don't overdo it. I agree, it is an attention getter, but in some instances, needed when important enough.

Live consciously....
Totally agree, RobinMarie.....giving attention to people for drumming up drama just perpetuates the drama to no good end. When something is important enough, you don't need drama. And good analogy .... the drama of middle-schoolers. Drama is usually used by the immature or those seeking attention. I also would prefer to ignore dramatic people rather than reward them for their behavior.
with the advent of social media drama has increased...

one mother shared on NPR that she sleeps with her two daughters laptops to make sure :
1 that they sleep too
2 to help null the effect of internet bullying should it happen

i dont nor ever will have any of my work friends on fb... it is common sense... you would be surprised at how many people lack that these days...

shopping north west PA and south west ny
Drama has no place on these forums. This is a great place to make friends and share info...

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
Sure, I love drama -- when it's on the stage or screen! Otherwise, not at all.
When it comes to message boards, forums and the like, it has no place.

I know that some like to stir the pot, I assume often out of boredom, and well, IMHO, there are more productive ways to pass time.
