Do you ever get any strange PMs/DMs on Facebook?

I got two this week.

One was a guy from my music group.....he sent me a photo of himself wearing a Batman mask and he says "I'm not saying I'm Batman, but you've never seen me and Batman together at the same time!" huh?
weird....press delete lol.
Next up was a guy from a travel group I belong to there.
He says hello and then " I am hoping we can get to know ourselves better."
My response: I know myself very well, thanks. Good luck on your journey of self discovery. Goodbye.

Unless it's from Marketplace, I delete and block all of the PMs I get on Messenger from folks I don't know.

I admin a group so yes, lots and lots of strange messages. Some make it obvious they are looking for someone to scam while others want to waste time with back and forth small talk before stating their actual purpose for contact. It can be exhausting. I've noticed that few have the communication skills required to be respectful of another person's time.
