Pepperidge Farms remembers 911 and the huge trade deficits with Japan that spanned the decades. We’re damned either way, prepared and proactive for surprise attacks or not, or for using the ‘tough hate’ approach or not. Part of the problem is a large segment of the US population has a habit of blaming themselves (ie: the government) for the sh*t that goes on around the world. Europeans never do that. They liken themselves to be a more ethical and peaceful people than us. They never question their own motives. They forget about all of the US servicemen and women who gave their lives on their soil to protect them and win their war. We could have nuked Japan and been done with it. They have benefitted from all of our achievements that WE FUNDED which saved millions of lives globally, the latest being the COVID vaccine. Oops, I forgot, we’re at fault for that too, according to a bunch of wackos who should be deported since they hate our country so much.
Europe and Japan have sh*t on us for years. It has become apparent if we asked their permission or approval prior they would have said no. Why? Because they’re cheap and expect the US to protect them and foot the bill as we have for so long. A ‘Yes’ would have cost them $. They think they’re smarter than us, and being critical will serve them and force our hand. Once again we are blaming ourselves and thinking about how we can support them. F that. Japan can rot with their F’ing mine sweepers. Our objective was achieved, and once their army is adequately crippled, the Iranian citizens will have a better chance of surviving genocide. We have helped them more than all of the NATO countries combined. Israel needs to stop the destruction to give them a chance at survival. I doubt they’ll go it alone for too long. They use us too.
With the 250th Anniversary coming in July, all of the carriers will be back home, probably hovering around Cuba. We should commend them and celebrate what they accomplished in keeping us all safe.
