mVentix Shop

I am doing a shop for mVentix....big office chain. Have to check a bunch of stuff and I am not sure how much I can say. Has anyone worked for this MSC before? Seems like a LOT to remember. They require a pic but then say it is not mandatory. I'm a tad nervous. Have to complete by 10/16.

I can think of very few companies that have such easy peasy reports. Prior to the receipt requirement I did all the reports on my phone. The jobs are also a lot easier than they appear. PM me with any specific questions.

I agree. It looks like a lot, but it goes really smooth. The company is great to work with, pays like clock work.
Thanks! I really get angst-y when I first work with a MSC. I just want to make sure that pics are NOT necessary. I will bring my camera, but if too many employees are around--not likely with THIS retail chain--I will forgo.
I've done several of these shops and they are not difficult. The company is great to work with, and pay within a reasonable time frame. They want the photograph only if you're absolutely sure it can be done covertly.

Did the shops w/o much difficulty, although at one store the rep wanted to tell me EVERYTHING he knew :-) I thought he would keep me there forever. At the next place the rep compensated by telling me NOTHING! Why does the MSC even ask for the pics? I could not get them in either place.

I clicked on "Market Intelligence Representative" but they want...a resume?
I don't remember specifically if they want a resume, but it wouldn't surprise me. You kind of have to jump through a few hoops to get registered. Then, like so many companies there are tests as you go along. It really is worth it. The pay is fair and like clockwork. Two things I really like, you can see the actual report prior to self-assigning, in fact you can see it before you've even taken the qualifying test. They also work on the philosophy that if you see jobs you need to self-assign them right away before losing them to another shopper and then you have a set length of time to take the test. How unusual is that! My only downside is jobs are usually released on Tuesday night and you have any time between Wednesday and Sunday to complete them. That's it for the dates, either they fit with your schedule or not. No extensions.

I gave them a Cliffs Notes resume: Company Name, Position Title, Dates Employed in Years, and contact info. Nothing elaborate, and they didn't seem to put up a fuss about it.
I did not have to submit a resume. Tried to sign up with a MSC last night...they wanted a curriculum vitae. Last time I did a curriculum vitae I was applying for a teaching job. What could I possibly put in a c.v. (besides my shopping experience) that would be relavent to a MSC. G-d hey sure do take themselves seriously! :-)
They are great! They always pay on time and have decent fees. Once you have done a few of their shops you will get used to their forms. Good luck!
hiya!

The site for mir's is www.mventix.com/mir

There you find the application. There is no resume involved. I just signed on today and the process was easy.
