TotalResearchSolutions, TRS Empower

I've tried searching the forum and couldn't find any information about this company. After I registered, there's a list of "shops" available to me.

After looking at the details for shops, many, if not all, require me to sign up for something. Is it me, or is this one of those "sign up for free offers and get paid" only in disguise?

I have done only three shops for them, and will only take the ones that offer a bonus. Total shopper's fee of $10.00. TRS requires that you sign up for an offer, keep it active for 72 hours and then cancel. Once you have completed these steps you have to fill out the evaluation. It would be awesome if there were more MS companies that do online mystery shops. The evaluation forms were fairly simple. Try one and if you don't like it don't do anymore.

Haven't done one yet, but do those offers fill your email with spam afterward? And do they share your personal info? What's the privacy policy on the offers?

Who knows if any of them share personal info. I completed a credit check and remote pc offer. I have a few different email addresses and don't give out the ones that I don't want spam sent to. I, also, don't give out my phone number. I would welcome more online evaluations if the pay were better.

I've done 2 online shops for them. You pay up front (suggest you buy a credit card that can be addded to, like a gift card from MC or Visa) don't use your personal bank card, to pay for the offers. TRS pays in a timely manner, but you pay first. The online shops you perform will spam your inbox until you unsub the list owner. It's a bit of a hassel. Won't do anymore.
