They pay so low it is actually insulting!!!!

Boycott these low shop fees please...when the shops go unfilled, their clients will sign on with another msc, and hopefully a better one.

LOL, Arch-patience is a virtue. I did one of the so-called $0 shops with a $14 reimbursement for $15 plus the $14 reimbursement just by watching and waiting.

I'll do that any day for a 20 minute shop that requires less than 5 min input-especially when it's somewhere I shop anyway. My son got free clothes out of it.

The trick to CoRI is to log in somewhere about 11 pm CST (got that hint from this board) and see what has been bonused up for the next day. You can grab them then or gamble and see if they go up again the next night. I have been watching a home goods client less than 2mi from my house for 3 days now. It's getting close to $20 and when it hits, I'll take it if someone else doesn't get it first.

It does not get any simpler than CoRI input. Editors are very relaxed about narrative.
Yea because a $15 fee and 45 days to wait for your money is better?

Eastcoastsuzy, make sure you have your safety glasses on, there's lots of metal filings flying around from all the axe grinding :-)

CoRI has a unique compensation structuring model. They start out with very, very low rates at the beginning of the month, then those rates slowly ramp up until they're quite respectable. As an example, I did a home improvement shop for them last week for just under $17. The shop started at the beginning of the month at $5 or $6. You just have to figure out what works for you and how high you want to go, knowing your neighbors are doing the same. Watch closely for a couple of months and you can figure out the sweet spot - the highest amount of pay it will hit before someone else snaps it up.

My experience has also been that they pay pretty quickly relative to other MSCs and I find their reporting system straightforward. +1 for CoRI, that's my two cents, no refunds :-)
I signed up for a shoe store with CORI, normally very low pay, but for some reason it was bonused at $40! I'm not doing it until 11/27/11, so I'm not sure why it was bonused so high.

They do pay rather quickly and their reports are fairly easy. My beef with them is that you can't save your report while you're working on it.
Okay, count me back in the "pool" with CORI.

Thanks for the informative tips on waiting for higher fees.

Happy Thanksgiving
Yes, its true, if you wait, these $3 shops will go up, but the thing that puzzles me the most is that often people will snatch up these jobs when they are at $3-$4??? why?? how????

Newbs who either haven't yet shopped around for better rates from other companies or haven't yet gotten any of the slew of the "Commissions are going UP UP UP!!!!!!!111ELEVENTY" emails.

The first month I watched some home improvement shops inch up. This month they skyrocketed. YMMV.
When I look at the last 6 weeks a large chunk of my pay has been from this company. All my shops have been above average pay and much less work. The balance for me is that even in the $7-10 range, they can be so much faster than other locations that I can easily finish 3 in the time it takes to do a $15 shop. And they pay super fast.

The other day was 3 shops, 37 minutes from when I entered the first shop until I exited the 3rd as two were in a mall and one across the street. I spent about 40 minutes total on reports. All were in a mile of where I was going to grocery shop, so no time wasted there.

Just over $49 in pay and $20 in reimbursable purchases. Got some stocking stuffers for Christmas and socks for myself so valuable reimbursements. Not bad for under 90 minutes total of work time.
Shops jump up in pay a LOT sometimes. The blue gas station shops start at either $3 or $6 depending. However, they go up in pay as high as $50+ on a semi-regular basis for the rural ones. I've done 2 shops in one route in a "rural" area for $105 total. (I just happened to live in that rural area at the time!)

Also, their pay is relatively quick now. It used to be lightening fast (1-10 days), but now tends to be closer to 10-20 days. Still VERY fast by industry standards.

As another note, as some have mentioned, their reports are SUPER DUPER EASY. Very little to no narrative required, all on one page, etc

CORI is a great company to work for as long as you wait it out.
I really like CORI. They are not fussy about the reports, as long as you are accurate at filling in the boxes and provide some narrative, they are satisfied. They do bonus, and just wait for it to happen. They pay weekly, which is fantastic!
They really are a fantastic company, once you figure out how they work. They are one of the fastest paying companies I have worked for. The key is to wait for the shop fees to rise, although you can always tell when someone new joins because they take the shops before they get to what they are actually worth. I have a rating of 5 out of 5 rating with them and am frequently offered jobs that pay quite lucratively. They are my #1 company. One thing that was a challenge for me at first was communication with them - the best way is to go to your home page and click on the chat box in the upper right corner. Their schedulers are wonderful to work with and very understanding, and if you have a problem a shop - they'll help you figure out how to report it. Again, hang out and wait for the shop fees to increase, don't accept them the first time you see them.
Like Shelly pointed out, they can be quick and easy. This month I was out on a hard 6 day road trip and have had some of the Medicare shops. It all left me needing a break. Throwing in some jobs from CoRI adds $ to the coffers and almost feels like a vacationsmiling smiley

I am wondering what it would take not get a perfect score from this company. The couple of times that they have communicated with me have been because I forgot to attach a required picture.

My narratives have gotten super brief and they don't ask follow up question. The only challenge is explain all the no answers on some of the ones that have a maximum number of characters.
As someone mentioned somewhere else - your dog could eat your assignment, and you'd still get a 5/5!! They are SUPER easy graders.
Actually I said your dog could write the report, but you may be correct as wellwinking smiley

I haven't worked for CoRI since they adopted the low pay policy. I would if shoppers in my area would stop snagging the shops at the bottom dollar fee and let them get bonused. I wanna bop them all on the heads. Grr!
I will tell you that I do not have a perfect score with them. Over a year ago I had a shop rejected because I didn't make a purchase at a gas station with a kiosk, and I had prior to that. They told me exactly what I had purchased in the past when I went on Live Chat. The problem was, the station was such a mess that I got caught up taking covert photos of everything I could and completely forgot that they had gum etc in the little kiosk. Live and learn....I've done a boatload of shops since then, but that one red mark has left me with a 4.9. It took a long time to get that far and it doesn't seem to be moving any higher. But I do agree they are not real picky about reports and narratives as long as you do it and submit that dang receipt.

I do love this company though and make a lot of my MS income from them. There are some great fees around here. Again, you must be patient!!!

I used to do a lot of work with them. Now I do many a few assignments a month because someone in my area now grabs them all right away.
I really like CORI also. They are easy to work for and getting a direct deposit every week is great. I have some pretzel shops that I am waiting for two months out with another company.

However, sometimes I am upset when jobs get kicked out and they never tell you. I just had two get kicked out because the daylight savings time was not fixed on my camera so it was off an hour, and the jobs were one on 11/20 at 11PM, and the camera shows it as 11/21 as 12AM. They just see it as two different dates, not the fact that it was only an hour off.

Beyond Frustrating.

I've done a few shops for them, I never noticed if they had a "start by" time requirement for any of their shops. If they do you could make the case that you started the assignment at 11:59 on the correct date :-)
First, contact them. They often will work with someone on an issue like this, unless it was a gas station audit. They claim the client is the stickler.

Second, why in the hell were you doing a job at 11 pm and what kind was it?

I have done many CORI gas station audits at 11PM, but usually don't have the date/time feature on at all - I add it later, and that helps prevent these issues.
I'm still waiting for any shop from them to go up more than 14.00....the time it
takes to keep checking is crazy, then the tests. My area is 3.00, and shops are being snatched up.....scratching my head in wonder of it all, how do they get shoppers to go through this? Sorry I put anytime into it...LisaSTL it's all your fault...smiling smiley
