CORI Shop Commission $.04

I kid you not. I wanted to cut and paste it, so I could prove it. But the name of the client shows up. I am sure no one will believe me. But it is true. The Commission for the shop is $.04. If I do the shop will they send me a check for $.04 or will they mail me 4 pennies? Or does CORI use PayPal? LOL!!!

Is this a typically mall based clothing store oriented towards teenagers? If so, there have been a lot of them on the boards lately as reimbursement only, which is $14. Guess they figure it's a free Christmas gift for most parents.

Oh, and for the record, CoRI is direct deposit.
Nope, this was a food establishment. I have never heard of it before. Obviously I cannot say the name. But, I will say it is a special style pizza.

I believe they also use Paypal now as well as direct deposit and checks.
Actually, CoRI gives US auditors a choice of Paypal or Direct Deposit. For International shoppers (i.e. Canadian like me), only Paypal. The rub is that they charge a fee to receive payment via Paypal. I don't do many shops for them because I consider them to be cheap - low shop fees and they charge ME to get paid! Meh! However, every once in a while, they bonus shops through the roof and that's when I pounce winking smiley

From their site:

International Auditor Payroll
Corporate Research International uses Paypal to pay international auditors. This includes any auditor outside the 50 United States. If you have this set up already you are all set to complete shops for CRI. If you do not have a Paypal account you will need to set one up in order to be paid for shops you complete for CRI. You can set up a Paypal account for Free by visiting www.Paypal.com.

Check Your Payment Receiving Preferences
Please make sure that you do not have your Paypal account setup to block payments from CRI! Check to see that the "Block payments sent to me in a currency I do not hold:" is set to "NO" under the Payment Receiving Preferences in your Paypal Profile. CRI pays all auditors in U.S. Dollars. If this option is set to yes and your selected currency is not U.S. Dollars our payments to you will be rejected by Paypal.

PayPal Payment Fee Notice
Due to the transaction fees imposed by PayPal, Corporate Research International will be deducting the fee from your payment to cover the costs. The fee is 3% or a maximum of $1.50.

For example if you earn $10.00 you will be paid $9.70, with 30 cents covering the PayPal Transaction Fee.
So whats the big deal, I'm assuming there is a reimbursement for food and in this industry its not uncommon to see restaurant shops for reimbursement only. So in that sense thats $.04 more than a lot of companies pay and you know it will get bonused even more if nobody picks it up. I take it you don't work for CORI since you don't know how they pay but this is pretty common practice for them, just don't take the job and they usually get bonused every week and the next thing you know that commission is up to $40.

Maybe you are right about the reimbursement. I didn't look. I couldn't look; I was laughing too hard. $.04 Why bother.
I think that's happened before. Considering their IT department can't get on board with anything other than IE it's not a huge surprise!

I've mention this before about Cori. I thought the bonus was a download error a 3.00 shop with a .30 bonus. I kept refreshing and it didn't change. I then called my friend, a Techie to come and fix my computer. He said there was nothing wrong with it. I then thought they were ploaying a joke on the newbie.
CoRI doesn't do that. That's what we're forgrinning smiley

I have used IE7, IE8, Firefox 3, Firefox 4 and multiple versions of Opera on CoRI's site without issue.
I have had issues with Chrome and their site. Prior to that I used IE for everything except GFK because of their requirement for FireFox. Just a head's up, as long as you are not having issues it's all good. As soon as you have any type of problem with submission, they will blame it on your browser if it's not IE and won't take responsibility for it being something on their end.

I've had that happen only once, and I don't remember which browser it was. All they had me do was reinput the shop. I used the same browser as the first time and it went through fine.
