Unfreakin' Believable CORI "Auditor Test" (Big Grumpy Vent)

Look...

This is a big vent. I'm so freakin' ticked off - I could screech. So, cover your eyes (and ears)!!

I have the answers for one of their "tests" - but it is not accepting, no matter what I do. I am taking the answers DIRECTLY FROM SCREENSHOTS OF THE STUPID VIDEO.

The ONLY problem I can find is the first question has two identical answers (A) and (cool smiley are word for word identical; (C) is something different (and is also a correct answer as indicated by a screenshot). (D) is something different AND listed on the video as something you "must" do. (E) is "ALL OF THE ABOVE".

Therefore, (E) is the CORRECT answer - unless - A & B are not supposed to be identically written. I've tried switching it out, you name it.

BUT EVERY ANSWER I HAVE CHECKED IS WORD FOR WORD ON THE STUPID DUMB @#$@%@ VIDEO.

Yet, it still is not being passed!

Okay.. vent done, I'm fine. Still po'd.. but I'll get over it.

Ha! LOL!

PS: Yes, I have printed out the test and gone back - I don't know how many times now - and marked off the answers according to the "video" (and the screenshots I've taken of each video/page).

I also do not "enable cookies" on my computer - never have, and I run CCleaner every time I shut down my browser, so I don't know if this has anything to do with this dumb test or not.

I don't like CCleaner. It was recommended and erased 2 months worth of data from my mystery shopping spreadsheet despite the fact it is used and updated daily!

Sometimes those tests are totally screwed up. If you are sure of your answers stop beating a dead horse and wait to contact someone tomorrow. They will help you through it.

I have a MA degree and most of the CORI tests stump me. I agree, putting in the answers that the video shows is not always right, but how can that be?????????????

You were probably joking, Lisa, but it may be true. I passed every one with ease, but I always used the "Standard Presentation" rather than the videos. And of course I printed the tests first.

I was half joking and believe there are several reasons for issues. I think that companies are often in such a big hurry to put things out there they do so before it's all finalized and/or proofed. If changes are made to a project the priority might be to get instructions updated before the corresponding test. Rather than start from scratch they keep using the same test over and over and simply miss the changes. Basic computer glitches can also be a problem along with poorly worded questions.

Actually I think the last few CORI tests I took were easier than normal. A lot fewer questions and they concentrated on issues rather than obscure details.

I was thinking the same thing.

Yeah. I think you could even use the back button and your answers were still there. But then again I shop with many companies so sometimes it's a blur. Still some of the tests are ridiculous. Maybe all the complaints have gotten them to start rewriting them.

It happened to me with one company. I was told I passed but it would not register so I gave up. I told the scheduler and she said I did not pass. Funny thing is I still got assignments. After more than a year, I noticed a note that I must take the test. I realized it was the same one I did but I took it again, and I passed again. This time it registered. Geez! It's their website...
klhofbauer, I just posted this on one of the other threads. I am mad right along with you.

OMG!!! I am steaming mad right now over them. Seriously, I just got off their website and wanted to see what some of our seasoned shoppers thought and boom there you are.
kmiarussi, I thought they were a joke from the beginning but now I...ughhh! I can spit nails. Ok. What I am going to do is copy and paste what I wrote so you will know what happened. No, I did not send it but I need feed back. Has anyone ever sent a letter like this to a so called shopping company?
Here it is...
I have spent the last 2 hours studying to qualify for a Bed Bath and Beyond shop only to finally find out that the pay is only five dollars. I have 2 pages of notes about what all they expect from this shop and it would take me at least two hours including the return. That is not even minimum wage. I am not in this to get rich but I am also not doing this to get taken advantage of. That is plain crazy. I don't get why you would think someone would put that much time and work into something to only get paid 2.50 an hour. Besides that, the training was chock full of unfinished words and repeated sentences which I would be counted off on my report if my work was that shabby. I have heard talk of boycotting and I just might encourage it.

LOL! When you feel that they are treating you like a charitable institution, drop the company. There are many good ones. It is not worth your aggravation.
My son had told me, "They need you more than you need them. You don't have to take it."

I just spent more than seven minutes on the phone with a scheduler. At the end, she told me it paid $5. I said, "Excuse me? Sorry but I don't do $5 shops. That means I will have to give up a higher paying shop available to me." If it is counter-productive, timewise and moneywise, it is not worth your time. I enjoy doing volunteer work but I am not there to earn money.
Man, so much negative feedback for CORI. I will not blame the company but the shoppers who pick up 'those' $5 shops. This is a Capitalistic society and everything works based on demand and supply.

Having said that, personally I love the company and if you wait and are patient you can get rewarded handsomely - you can get paid much more than the seemingly 'high paying' MS companies out there.

Just venting ...
I can't seem to pass the auditor test either. I know my answers are right, as I opened up a seperate window and checked off the answers as they came from the video. Anyone out there able to help???

LOL. Ps. I hear so much about them on here, I decided to give them a whirl. smiling smiley

***** I just want to say, I spent hours trying to past this test. Over and over again. I exited the site, came back 2 hours later took the test again, without reviewing the course again and passed. I had the same exact answers I had been using. I think their system is MESSED up! All of you frustrated out there, this may help.
