HELP submitting CORI shop

I did my first CORI shop today. I have been trying to submit the report for 4 hours now! I am so frustrated. I filled out the report and uploaded my receipts and photos. When I click submit, it says the page cannot be displayed. I hit the back button to go back to my report and all is lost. I redid it 3 times with still no luck submitting. I was using Chrome so I switched to IE, redid the report again and it still won't submit. I am just about to give up. I have done 100 times more work tonight than what the pay is worth. Sigh..........

I am so sorry. CoRI has some hints on their site about making IE work correctly. I know that some of the schedulers have told me that it doesn't work on Chrome at all. I use Firefox and get by OK. ((HUGS))
Thanks. I found the help topics on the site. I wrote in to ask for an extension. I am just too tired to work on it anymore tonight. Hopefully they will be patient with me. I will definitely try out Firefox. Thanks for the support smiling smiley
Sassyshopper, I definitely felt your pain this week, as well. Turned out all of my problems were my oversights while submitting my first CORI report. First, I use a Mac and completely forgot I have to use IE. After hours, I realized my mistake and re-entered the entire, LONG report on my husband's PC, using IE. I still kept getting error messages about using too many charcters. I, however, was SO tired, I kept reading "characters" but was thinking "WORDS" and knew I wasn't over the limit. I decided to refresh, don't know why, and lost it all. I finally sent emails to explain what was happening and asked for help. I actually received a very polite phone call the next morning and "she" was extremely patient with me, even when I caught my own goof about "characters" as we were visiting. She offered to stay late at work in Ohio (I'm in TX) and was going to actually walk me through the report as a one time help. I decided to try one more time on my own, since I had what I needed at work to complete the report, and she seemed thrilled that I was able to get it done on my own, afterall. Their report submission site is not very user friendly, but I think I can do it better from now on. My overall rating actully went up, so I guess all is okay now. Let's just learn the hard way sometimes!
Don't forget to drop and drag your pictures into CORI's resizer. Last time I had issues, it was due to this.
Thanks so much for the replies. My email was answered by a very nice CORI associate and my deadline was extended to today. I just got home from a shop route and am now going to carefully follow directions and use the resizer. I will let you know how it all turns out.
Aggiegirl, I am in Texas, too. Small world!
There were several months over the last year where I had difficulty getting shops submitted and retyped them multiple times. I had been doing the shops for many months by then and knew the routines. I sent e-mails regarding this and made suggestions that next time they revamp the program to add in a spell checker as well as a save every so many minutes to help with spending hour trying to submit reports.

The last time I had trouble, I was doing shops (multiple ones they had difficult getting completed because of their locations. They were on my way to and from the reunion) while attending a 30th class reunion. I was not going to miss out on the reunion activities especially since I had been working on the 4 assignments since 10am and it was 5:30pm. Even though I had notified them of the difficulties, they refused to accept my shops late until I called them when I got back in town. They finally accepted the shops, but lowered my rating severely and would not reinstate my rating. Not too long after that they took me off of those gas station shops.

That's different than my experience. Were they so late that the shops had been removed? For a Saturday shop that would be 11 am on Monday. I've had that happen once or twice (my fault and theirs) but we always got it straightened out with no ding to my rating.

I wrote emailed them on Sat., Sunday, Mon. and they were due no later than MON AT MIDNIGHT.
You didn't say if they had been automatically unassigned and since you were e-mailing them about the problems I'm assuming the shops were scheduled for Saturday, correct? A shop scheduled for Saturday is due at midnight eastern time on Saturday. The system doesn't automatically remove shops for another 36 hours after that which makes it noon on Monday. (Sorry for saying 11 I was thinking about my time)

It is the computer that pulls them, reduces your rating and puts them back on the board where they can be picked up again. If they are taken by another shopper before you can get everything worked out then CORI won't normally pull them from that other shopper. However, I have had them restore my rating which was automatically lowered because the scheduler had put in the wrong date. Obviously you have the e-mail trail showing your efforts to get the jobs submitted on time which should be more than enough to get them to make the adjustment.

I always stress that people call a company when time becomes an issue. At least CORI is one of those companies where you can reach a real person during business hours. If it's really crucial I won't even rely on voicemail unless I've been told the person is actually in the office. Their receptionist is wonderful and when I'm in crisis mode she will find someone to help!

I had the same problem but had a horrible experience with a particular Rep. They still ended up paying me for the jobs though, because it wasn't my fault but a computer problem on their end. I used the resizer, used multiple computers, tried every browser I had access to(after failing with IE)...and it just wouldn't work. Kept timing out with me.

Hope everything goes well with yours. I agree that the picture size is a big factor.
They were automatically deleted and then later deleted by a rep, even after she told me that I had another 24 hours to complete them. after complaining a 2nd time, I was given time to input the info again. However, they still would not increase my rating, no matter how many times I asked.

Just to let everyone know, the gas station ones, especialy the quarterly ones are a pain in the patutie (? on spelling) and the only shops that I have had major problems with and am now requested not to do.

I have had minor problems with others, but have always been able to get things straightened out. I even get phone calls when they are real desperate to get jobs completed. I have done 330 since Dec. of 2010 for Cori.
I also did my first shop for CORI. Holy Moses! I have never received such a low rating. Here I am with rating again... Went to support chat and she told me, rating could only go as high as 5. Must have missed reading about that. i am off to the next one.
I did finally get my shop submitted. The problem turned out to be the picture size. I checked my settings in IE and they were correct. I then downloaded the image resizer and resized my photos with it. I redid the report and it submitted right away smiling smiley I thought it would be a big pain to have to download and use a certain program for one MSC, but I must say that I love the resizer! It is so quick and easy. I have always resized the pics myself and did not realize it was so time consuming until I used the CORI resizer.

Can the resizer be used on any pic or is it only good for submitting pics to CORI?
You can use it for anything, I use it for other shops as well, it just spits out the new image in a folder, doesn't matter if it's a personal photo or buisness as it isn't connected to the site(which is why you still have to upload the files to the report). I really like their re sizer.

5 is their top rating, the sort of straight A's.
Be advised that even Dead People get a 5 from CORI...winking smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

And here I was wondering how I got that low rate when I could be dead and still get 5. lol
Its True! I would not kid you about a thing like this...

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
It was my first CORI shop. My rating went from 3 to 4.0
I received a email stating that my report rating was a 5, so why I am I only at a 4? If all the dead folks have a 5 then I must be AWFUL LOL
because you start out at a 3/5 when you begin. Every shop that you do that has a good rating raises your overall rating so eventually you will be a 5/5. Each report is individually rated as well on a 5 point scale, most all reports are given a 5/5, which is what mrcomputer was talking about.
