On the Shell jobs, they ask a question as to whether you observed a receipt being printed out at the card reader. After pumping, print your own receipt and you have your observation of a receipt being printed out at the card reader.

Unfortunately, sometimes if you pay inside, the pump does not give you the option to print your own receipt. I always try because the receipt from the pump is "neater" and eaiser to scan that the inside ticket. Is there a trick to getting the outside receipt to print?

I've never had a problem getting the receipt to print. Maybe some of the pumps don't give you a receipt option if one is printed out inside.

I probably would call the MSC on this one. Doesn't make sense to me if you are PREPAYING and then trying to see if a receipt prints.

You're right. This doesn't make sense, but it will after you do one of these Shell audits.

We're trying to see if ANY receipt prints by seeing if our own prints. The question asked is if you were able to observe a customer printing out a receipt.
