Restaurant Mystery Shops?

I would really like to do more restaurant mystery shops since my husband and I don't get to go out to eat very often. Does anyone have any companies they recommend?
We're located in the southern California, more specifically Orange County. We are NOT a fan of Coyle. Any other companies? Thanks!

There are lots of MSCs that do different restaurants, trying searching the forums and I'm sure you could come up with a list of a dozen companies in less than a few minutes. Here is one to get you started, A Closer Look, they do nothing but restaurants in my area.

I recommend "A Closer Look", they have restaurants in your area, and are a pleasure to work with...reimbursement only, but pay within a resonable time.

Merchantile has several shops up here (Monterey), so I'd check them out. Always pay on time and, most often, not only reimburse, but pay a fee!

Pretty 'high end' restaurants...

yes but they take forever to pay, stated payment cyle is 90 days but it is at least 120 days before payment is finally received and that is after countless emails chasing down payment.

As true as your comment is G3b I dont think Amanda is very happy with that comment ... she is actually a client service manager with G&A!!....

Reality Based Group...they shop a particular Restaruant client who seems to be a favorite with many of us on this board...

Also Customer Impact are a restaurant mystery shopping company I recommend.

I have never seen a restaurant on Reality Group, only banks, but no more. Different locations provide different jobs. Sign with many and see what
they have in your area.

I'll add a thumbs up to Customer Impact. I had a bar shop with them that included reimbursement for the valet, cocktails for two, appetizers and a nice little shop fee on top of that.

A Closer Look and Customer Impact are my favorites. They have some really good restaurant shops and are nice folks to work with.

I am so hoping that CI has a certain musician's restaurant available in May as I'm taking my niece to the 50th Anniversary Beach Boys concert at the Mohegan Sun arena and she would love to eat there. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact I distinctly remember going to the 25TH anniversary Beach Boys tour when I was her age!
