SS-N Group?

I keep getting an email from Secret Shopping Network with an invitation to be one of its shoppers. The email is signed by:
Mrs. Ashley Jefferson
Head Of Recruitment
SS-N GROUP

I'm skeptical as the invitation indicates a high payment rate for shoppers. (If it's too good to be true, it probably is not true.)
Does anyone else have any experiences with this group?

I just hit "reply" and asked Mrs. jefferson to provide me with the actual name and address of the MSC. I'm awaiting for some type of reply.

I know NSSN and NSS but no SSN. Of course, if they're a newer company, I wouldn't necessarily know them since I'm relatively new back in the game. It's very likely they're a scam but sometimes legit companies have scammers immitating them while using legit company emails in the signature line. A quick Google search didn't bring anything up with that name.

Sometimes I swear they send spam just to give a certain company or industry a bad name because they use legit company links, don't ask for money, and don't have a way to scam you. Either they're really bored or really bad at being a crook.
AlwaysAngie: I replied to the message about getting more info about the company (at least an address or phone number). I now await a reply.
I could not find the company when I searched. However, I will keep a positive, open mind that this may be a new company and out to recruit a shopper base.
It could be a way to harvest emails. I don't know. As long as you didn't give out personal information and I'd doubt you'd do that, the worst is you'll have more Viagra and hot housewives emails. Those, I do suspect, are definitely spam. winking smiley
@AlwaysAngie: I'm still awaiting a reply from this person. I have received two more emails (same content) from them.
I'm sure they got my email address from one of the MS related websites. I hope no one else is getting harmed by this email... Just maybe it is a legitimate, new company.

If Google doesn't bring up the name of the company then put in the name of the person on the e-mailwinking smiley Believe it or not, the use of Mrs. in front of her name was a tip off for me. Most men and women have dropped the titles in e-mails, except of course those coming from foreign countries. Here's a link to info

I don't believe it! As I was writing my last reply, I received another solicitation. The big tip off for me that it is an email to be deleted is the poor grammar and misspellings plus the message is from ab AOL account (name did not match sender).

Good day,

We are a company that conduct surveys and evaluate other companies. We get hired to go to other companies and act like customers in order to know how the staffs are handling their services in relation to their customers. Once we have a contract to do so, you would be directed to the company or outlet, and you
would be given the funds you need to do the job (either purchase things or require services), After which you would write a comment on the staffs activities and give a
detailed record of your experience.

these information is sent to the company executives and they would carry out their own duties in improving there services. Most companies employ our assistance
when people give complains about their services, or when they feel the need for them to improve their customer service.

Your Identity would be kept confidential as the job states (secret shopper) you would be paid $300 for every duty you carry out, And bonus on your transportation allowance, And funds would be given to you if you have to dine as part of the duty.

Don't assume they got your e-mail from any mystery shopping website. These just go out to thousands of people at a time. Look at all the people who come here asking for advice and were never involved with an MS company or forum.

Yeah I get these in the mail and email all the time. They are all worded basically the same. I would say definitely from overseas. Unfortunately, I do not think at this point in the process they are technically doing anything illegal. Misrepresenting themselves, but that maybe fraud. No I do not get how they are generating income with these scams. ???
If you keep dropping your line eventually you will get a bite. They send thousands of these things and when people do get ripped off it's to the tune of several thousand dollars. How far can 3 grand go in Nigeria?

I appreciate everyone's comments. I hope that nobody falls for this type of solicitation. I guess there is nothing really illegal as it is a form of free speech
As with the millions of dollars I'm losing from Nigeria, I guess I will lose these very high paying shops by hitting that "delete" button.
