Sorry, I did not mean the company was Canadian. The US office told me that the sale that took place was of the Canadian branch. I believe the UK base is still owned by them but they divested themselves of Canada.

Be careful with them. I did a job for them a few months ago...never got paid and it's no longer on my completed shop log online. No one answers my emails. I finished a second job for them and have yet to be paid on that one either.
I LOVE this company. Never a problem and I love the jobs.
They pay at the end of the month following your job so if you worked in early March you will get paid at the end of this month. I would call the office. When the phone answers push 3 and then 3 again. Anna usually answers these days. She is very nice. I have been working for them for years (they were my first job and I found them on craigslist. Imagine that! I did research and decided they were legit at the time. I have always been paid, never an issue with them. I have never found an email to work but the office people are great. Those might go to england??? But call El Segundo/Manhattan Beach, Ca. The phone number is right on their website. lou Wrote:

Thanks, Sandy. I will call tomorrow and update. I really appreciate your help.

I do love this company, as well. They always pay me on time and really like their shops. However, this past month, no new shops were posted. Has anyone else that shops for them regularly experienced this?
Many months go by sometimes with no shop postings for me. They do not post regularly on a particular day so sometimes all the jobs are gone before i wake up whichever day they happened to post. I have called them and was told there were some but they all got assigned that morning.
MarketForce acquired the U.K. division of the company, which had most of U.S. shops. The U.S. company is now freestanding -- since the acquisition, I've only seen one client, which was previously with a different MSC.
Bummer...I just signed up and there are no shops in my area.
So I've given up trying to collect my money from them. They paid me for one job and owe me about $20. I've called, send numerous emails, and now I give up.

I can't spend much more of my time trying to recoup $20, but I can spread the word to hopefully protect other shoppers.

I shop for about 30 different companies and Retail Eyes and Freeman are the only ones who stiffed me.
I got paid back by Retail Eyes no problem. However, they have stopped providing available shops for me and they do not show up under Marketforce either.
They just listed 45 available shops on my account this morning. I went back in a few hours later and there were only 12 left. You've gotta be fast to get them and lucky or persistent to look for them at the exact correct moment. I am in So Cal. I suspect there are many markets where they have no shops at all.
I was assigned a shop for RE yesterday and it's for a yogurt place. I hope I get paid.
I wasn't aware that Retail Eyes was swallowed my MF. I did a shop for them last week through their own website. We are talking about the same Retail Eyes that does the Japanese restaurant and such, right?
Yes we are and they are not owned by MF as far as I know. I have written about this before in this thread. They told me it was their Canadian section that was sold...not sure whether it was to MF but the US part is still Retail Eyes, as is the original british section I would think.

I received 4 emails for different jobs that I'd love to do, however, when looking on their site, no jobs ever lsited. I have tried writing, never get an answer. This was my first company, and when part was aquired by MF, I don't
see jobs, yet do get emails, can't figure out what's going on.

Live consciously....
