I am still getting my feet wet. I signed up with Shadow Shoppers and I am BRONZE.

I see a lot of jobs but no details are available to because BRONZE doesn't get the whole story. Whats is up with that?

Membership is free. Simply choose your username, type in your email address, and choose a password. You immediately get full access to the forum.

You have to pay them to the rest of the details. Sometimes it will show the mystery shopping co.

I took a look at their list the other day that is open to the public without signing on. As you pulled your cursor over the job it often showed the company doing the job. The list seemed to be about the same as is available for free at Jobslinger.com. I also recognized that many of the Shadow Shopper jobs on the list were with companies I usually check directly and those jobs have been long gone, so in that sense they do not have an advantage on Jobslinger.com I did note that they had a number of postings for Satisfaction Services, which is one of the few MSPs that suggests you will get better offers if you pay to join their company, though there is a free registration as well. I have gotten a few jobs from Satisfaction Services over the years that were not noteworthy and colleagues who have the same kind of experience and such have not been impressed with what they have been offered from there whether they were paid members or free registrants.

I signed up with Shadow Shoppers when I first retired and was interested in Mystery Shopping. I made my payment back in the first two weeks . It save me a great deal of early research and I felt safer, right or wrong, to hve some guidance. Now I get direct communicagtion from most of the companies that they refer me to and will no longer need them. As I learned of new companies, tried them out and decided if I chose to work for them, I was able to pass the links along to other people who were just getting started as well. Membership has worked for me.

I am just starting out through Shadow Shoppers myself. I started as a Bronze member and received those "teaser" emails as well. After a week or two they sent me an offer for 50% off their fees for one month. So I'm doing that right now to get my feet wet. It's getting me in touch with other sites. Then I won't need their services anymore. But for now, I really appreciate them being there. It's great for those of us just starting out.
