Carvel shops

I've never worked for this MSP before. Has anyone done the Carvel ice cream shops, and are there any traps I should avoid or tips you can offer? (please don't mention MSP in your replies.)

Sneakers,

Done them and they are easy. Nothing to avoid. Just go in a purchase what they ask you to and let it all unfold. Go out to your car, come back in with your paperwork and camera and wait until they've finished with any other customers. The employees/owners are usually very receptive and friendly about these shops. Make sure to take all the required photographs. The only drawback is that you probably shouldn't have much small talk with them because when you go back in 3 months time they will recognize you. Good luck! Their Caramel Macchiatto is great!

BTW this MSP has quite a few decent shops in our area. Once you've done a few good ones for them the schedulers will contact you directly. Nice!
I saw the same shop and wondered whether it was worth getting involved in and thank you all for the information. Nite...
It's $10 + reimb on the ice cream drink. They're all so close to me, other shops and my own shopping that it's not a bother to do any of them. Also I love doing photos. It depends on how much you're making and whether you need $10 jobs. I've had nothing for a week.
By the way. Since I wrote this, I've done 5, and they're fast and run smoothly. Now the MSP is starting to bonus them, and it's only the 13th of the month.

I like the Cookie Dough Arctic Freeze, w/nonfat milk, except that I don't eat the cookie dough. Who knows what's in it, tastes like congealed starch. But the drink is refreshing on a hot, sticky day.

It's great that you don't have to scan the letter and receipt. Trust.
