Thanks Second-To-None!

Often we come on the board to vent about our frustrating experiences with MSCs and how we sometimes feel unvalued. But we also come here to tell of our good experiences and I wanted to contribute to that as well.

Recently, I completed a shop for Second-To-None three days before going out of town. On the fourth day I received a clarification email asking me to reply in 12 hours. I received another email after the first one asking me again to respond to the first clarification email. Because I was traveling, I didn't reply to either. When I had an opportunity to review my emails I saw both emails, plus an email notifying me that my shop was rejected. I contacted the scheduler to explain that I purposely completed the shop three days prior to traveling in the event there were clarification questions. I also apologized for not responding in time to the emails and provided the answer to the question. The next day I received an email stating that my shop was accepted! smiling smiley

I have shopped for second-to-none a number of times and there have been a few clarifications that I needed to get in. One I was asked for another clarification which I gave them. I have dealt with a couple of schedulers and have found them to be good and will help if needed.
I LOVE Second to None!

They have great "donut" shops (that pay little... but I love the donuts!)

I like their bookstore coffee shops (also not a big paying shop.. but I love a certain coffee drink at one storesmiling smiley
I have been loving working with Second to None recently, too! Tammy and Ryan have both been pleasant, efficient schedulers.

I wish there was a donut or bookstore shop around here!

I have performed several shops for second-to-none. They pay great and their forms are not complicated montrosities. I just wish they had more clients/jobs in this area.

Ryan is great. He always gets back to me promptly when I request a shop. Even if someone has already taken it, which is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately for me this shop is not available self assign and each time I want it I have to email for it.
I had not yet signed up with this company. Thanks to this thread I signed up and have a gourmet sandwich lunch lined up for next week. This forum is so valuable for many things! Thanks HaveaRayDay
Good news, but a sad smiley also. Their site, for at least some clients, now allows the shopper to change the shop date, without requesting it from the scheduler. After all these years of not being able to do that, communication to their shopper base would have been welcome and helpful.

Just stumbled upon it.
I used to do a lot of work for them, mainly coffee shops. These cool spring mornings, I sure do miss those free beverages!
They're a class act. They haven't had a lot in my area, but I do like working with them. You showed how good communication is a must.
I have had good experiences with this company. =)
