ICU and About Face

Anyone know the rotation on their shops? I never seem to be qualified for anything anymore.

I'm not sure about ICU, but I'm going through the same thing with About Face. I'm not sure if some of their shops have a limit of how many you can take per round or if there is a limit of shops per shopper at one time, period. Let us know if you find out anything on either one of them! ICU, I just don't check that often. I've done several different shops with them, none of the same client, long rotations could be why...I never thought of that!

For About Face, go to your profile and check the birthdate! I am told that some glitch had 90% of shopper profile birthdates default to the year 1900, which qualified you only for funeral shops. I looked, and once I reset my birthdate to the correct year I got a lot better results.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

Funeral shops? I did not know those are being shopped. I don't think
I will be applying to do it anytime soon.
This made my day! Funeral shops? Is this evaluating the counselor or the gravesite or both? Oh boy. I have aging parents and this wouldn't be on my "to do list". Already been "too done".

It's evaluating the comfort level of the casket grinning smiley lol
Actually...

Funeral shops are extremely interesting. Whenever they are up I try and go to do the shop. I've even had my husband do the ones I did.

It's not something anyone wants to think about. However, it really IS something everyone should think about - particularly pre-planning. Think about how much it costs, and do you really want to leave your family to take care of it? The shops I've done were all about the pre-planning arrangements.

I definitely learned a heck of a lot. I visited 4 in one day, and each offered different services, price ranges, etc.

I posted about a month ago, "What 1 shop would you recommend everyone try" - and that was my selection - I think everyone should do at least 1 Funeral Home Shop!

PS: They weren't through About Face though.

You are right. Accompanied my parents as they planned. There were hurting families there who hadn't planned and it was really tough for them. When we finished, my dad said, "So, are you up for dinner now?" Boy oh boy. You can have mine "Rainy Day" on a sunnier day than mine.
That may be a problem...

I'm in the Desert - I'm still waiting for those Rainy Days! LMBO!

(couldn't resist! LOL)
