Freeman, anyone paid quickly this Spring?

Regarding the BBB comment above; they may not have handled your complaint because you are outside the US, but they are handling a complaint for me. They have contacted the business twice on my behalf now, and I have received two of three outstanding payments as of today. I would encourage other people to use the BBB system, if for no other reason that a large number of complaints will make the company's record more transparent to other people who might be thinking of doing business with them.

the response I got was

"Per national BBB policies, we cannot continue with a complaint if it primarily involves inssues of labor, employment or wage claim Issues. You may wish to contact the Texas Workforce Commission at [www.twc.state.tx.us] or 800-832-2829. I am sorry we can no longer assist you with your complaint"

I hope that helps you guys. but patricia, you may be right. I'm glad that they have managed to get you 2 of the pending payments. Hope the last one comes through quickly!

And yes, a large number of complaints registered against them may speed the payments for everyone!

I understand their response to you, and I think it probably had more to do with the way you might have framed the complaint than the fact that you are in Kuwait. I wrote the complaint up as a debt for independant contract services, and made it clear in the complaint that it wasn't a wage issue.

Well, I finally got the last payment due from this company. Its probably no coincidence, but they paid me on the last day they had to respond to the BBB. I would recommend those of you who never intend to shop for this company again (i.e., those with a brain) to make use of the BBB to settle any payments outstanding. If they get enough complaints, maybe they will change their ways.
