Certified Field Associates/Market Force Purple

What the ____ is going on with CFA's schedulers?!?!? You can't reach them by phone through Market Force, because they no longer ANSWER the phone. Now, they apparently don't return voicemails, either. I have left voicemails for the last two days requesting a scheduler to call me back, with absolutely NO response! Yes, I am leaving my name, phone number, and associate ID. They currently have three assignments in my area, all of which are past their due dates. You'd think they'd actually want to get them assigned and completed. But NO. Apparently they have no interest in assigning them and getting them off the board. And they have no reason of which I am aware to be avoiding me in particular. I have consistently completed all of my assignments with CFA on time and with accuracy.

CFA doesn't even make it possible to message schedulers about potential assignments through the website, for pete's sake! Why are CFA's schedulers so completely inaccessible? Is that any way to run a MSC??? I'm frustrated and fed up!

I apparently have been de-activated by Market Force and didn't realize they swallowed up this company. I think it's highly unprofessional that they don't advise you that you've been de-activated and the reason you have been de-activated. Considering the comments above about lack of communication, glad I've been de-activated.
I know what you mean. I recently saw a grocery audit right near my house but because I had already reached my limit, I wasn't able to self-assign. So I emailed the help desk and informed them I was interested in the grocery audit. They instructed me to call MF and leave a message and a scheduler would get back to me. Personally, I thought it would've been a lot easier if the help desk forwarded my email to the scheduler in charge of my area but whatever...

So I called MF and left my info. Nobody called me back. The grocery audit sat on the board until the due date and then it was removed. If MF continues to let things like this slide, they're not going to last very long in the MS business.

That was the opposite problem I had in my one attempted shop with CFA back in 2009.

They mailed me materials for a grocery shop that wasn't going to arrive for a full week, but kept calling me even though I told them to ONLY e-mail me since I can't get phone reception in the lab I worked in. I got booted the day the materials showed up and after about five days of calls with me in the lab.

This sounds like a good problem to have.

I tried to sign up for them and got no response either.
I think I used to work for Certified Reports, doing Movie Checks.
They really raked me over the coals though, b/c we had a sudden snowstorm in November, and they insisted I stay at a theatre until late that evening, even though I had to drive up a dangerous mountain road in a bad snowstorm to get home.

I had called them early in the day to tell them, I may not be able to finish the entire shop, due to the weather. They were insisting I stay at a motel at MY expense, or I'd not be paid for ANY of the shop, even though it was a blind check, which meant, I had to pay for ALL the tickets myself! Not fair, not fair at all!
They weren't too cool to me, even though I did dozens of shops for them.
Nonetheless, I need the work.
How do you sign up for market force anyway?

Who is the dispatcher or person you can call or e-mail to get on and do jobs with Market Force anyway?
@MovieChecker - when I was a salaried employee I would not risk my life like that, and when I was a department manager I never would have told one of my team members to do something like that. And as an independent contractor it goes without saying. While I understand needing the work, there are plenty more companies out there that would never suggest something like that. I thought being told to get a babysitter takes the cake, but to stay at a motel.

Not for nothing though - during a blizzard, how many people did they think would show up? If its that bad around here (like during Irene and our freak Halloween snow storm and the winter of 2011 - the theater is CLOSED).
