Mercantile Systems, Anyone?

Hi, I'm pretty new to mystery shopping, I've done a few shops, and have just started cutting my teeth on some new companies. I have found the info here invaluable so far, so thanks everyone. Anyhow.. has anyone done shops with Mercantile Systems? I searched the forum and came up dry.

If you haven't, make sure you select "ALL DATES" using the Forum Search (not google).

Using just a 30 days search will normally not give you a lot of topics. Best to use either the "1 Year" or "All Dates".

Hi, welcome to the forum. I just searched for "Mercantile" and found lots. When you search use the "Search Messages" function and select "all dates." That should get you everything. But there have been discussion within the last couple of weeks. Here's a link to my search:

Top of the line. Worked for them for years monthly doing their bar audits and a hotel evaluation (no overnight). Really love them, fair with everything they do, scheduler the best, don't hesitate, unless you live in my town...

The normal restaurant's (L.A. only) give out gift cards, the bar audits pay a report fee+reimbursement. You have to take test for bar audits.

I really appreciate the feedback, they have some restaurant shops in my town that I'll try out.

There are threads on the forum. Check the dates when you do your shop. I've done some bar integrity shops. Good company to work with.

They were the very first mystery job I did. I love them, the people at Mercantile are great! My husband and I love doing their shops. And the surveys get easier every time you do one.

I've conducted restaurant shops for them and found them to be an "okay" company to work with.

I love Mercantile! Great schedulers and very fair editors. No . . . I don't edit for them! LOL I've done shops for them for a decade now. They do have some great shops but you might have some strong competition among other shoppers. Keep applying for the shop you want and let the scheduler see your name several times. When you get that first shop, make sure it's perfect.
