Lending Shops

Does anyone ever shop at Lending Companies. I have an offer to do the shop, I've been with the mystery shop company for about 4 months and they are one of the best companies to work for. They will pay $200 for the shop + $100 Bonus from Forensic Investigation. They will provide a dummy loan scenario and all loans will be rescinded within the allotted time period or cancelled upon funding of the loan. . They will also send me a written legal documents that my credit will not be affected. I've seen this shop offered in different locations but nobody has ever accepted it. Is it safe? I saw the warning on insurance shop in this forum. I've done easy cell phone shop for $20+ each just to run my credit.
Right now, I am set with my mortgage. I don't use credit cards and not planning to apply for one. Lower credit scores is fine with me if job permits but nothing scares me than court orders that I have a loan in my name which has not been paid, it will be a nightmare. I e-mailed the scheduler last week about my concern but I have not heard from her.

I've been hesitant to do these shops for the same concerns you have. I've been MSing for 2 yrs. In my opinion if you coould use a totally dummy scenario and not have to divulge your personal info I would take it.
I have never heard of Forensic Investigation. I checked my various resources and nobody is aware of them. I attempted to Google them and did not find them. I have found no comments by other shoppers about them to advise caution or comfort.

What they are asking that you do is go through the whole process of the loan only to have the money returned and the loan closed down. I really really would be careful. While you may not need your credit scores now you never know what will happen next week or in six months. And frankly, this looks like more of a fee than I have seen for this type of shop, which also has me worried for you. What are you to do with the proceeds check from the loan? If you are supposed to endorse it and send it along to someone to "close out the loan" I would say definitely a scam.
I too have seen these shops in my area and am a skeptic. I would like more information if anyone gets any. It's scary stuff to give out your information that way.
