Goodwin Angel or Goodwin Devil?

I feel that they are one of my slower payers. But the only shops I do for them are places that I would be going to anyway and spending my own money. At least I eventually get paid/reimbursed with Goodwin.
All their shops in my area are not expensive or high-end shops so I am not dealing with a lot of money.

You will have to send them a reminder to get paid, then they do, has been my experience...they have a new restaurant that just opened in my town, and I am debating weather to self-assign or not, it means putting out 40.00, and I don't know if I want to wait 3 months.

I'm a lot like Shop, in that I do the Goodwin shops that I would go to anyways. If you read the messages aobut them in this forum, you will see you need to remind them for payment. However, the last two shops I've done for them, I was paid in about 60 days without reminding them. I don't tknow if they're changing their ways, or whether I'm just getting lucky with them. I have not done a shop for them in a couple of months since I can't fit them into my schedule. I'm wondering if my "luck" will continue.
If you want my opinion about doing one of their shops, I would say if you do it, don't expect to be paid for 90 days and you'll have to remind them.

They pay....honest they do! ...(In about 4 months) 
I ALWAYS have to remind them on the 90th day and then get paid within about a week after, except once it took a month after. That was fustrating, lots of follow up emails from different people at Goodwin. So I am not a fan of them and only take food shops that I don't mind not being reimbursed for. With that said, I never let the reimbursements get too high as I don't want to be out too much money if and when that day comes when I don't get reimbursed. Would definitely do more with Goodwin if they would at least pay on the 90th day w.o. a reminder.
I never had to remind them about payment but they are one of the slowest companies to pay out. My payments normally come by in 3-4 months since job completion.
I have to remind them to pay me every single time I do a shop for them. I hesitate to take more work from them because of this. They are the only company I have to chase to get my payment from. It isn't worth it to me. Everyone else that I shop for pays on time. How hard can that be?
I'm glad I ran across this post because I've just recently signed up with them but haven't done any shops yet.

Once again, DO NOT SHOP for them...when the shops remain unfilled, then the clients are forced to change msc's. Hopefully the next one will be ethical.

Good to know, I think I'll take a pass. I already wait 60 days for payment from my two favorite MSCs.
I wish I had one of their shops today. I was craving an organic burger for lunch. For this type of shop, getting paid in 90 days is better than no reimbursement at all. (Organic burger shops do not have $0.59 cheeseburgers.)
And their yogurt shops are a refreshing treat for me. And they are not reimbursement only so I always make a little bit of profit. :-)

I've done two shops and both times I had to ask about my payment after six months. I'm not going to take any more assignments from them.

This is why there are so many MSCs to register with, multiple types of shops, and a variety of shoppers. Different strokes for different folks. Many shoppers on this forum love doing the typical FF shops (golden arches come to mind) but I hate that type of food. Some shoppers feel comfortable performing high-end retail shops with purchase and return. Others love doing gas station shops and wearing a neon yellow vest.

Great thread. I just signed up with them and am about to do a smoothie shop shop. I've not had a smoothie in a long time, so it will be a feeling out process for me.
They are only the 2nd MSC I've scheduled a shop with. The other, BestMark, seems to be known as one of the quickest with their payment MSCs out there.
